Haryana DET 2025 Application Form Important Dates

About Haryana DET

Haryana DET 2025 will be organized for providing admissions to the different Polytechnic programs of 1st year of Engineering & Pharmacy and also in the 2nd year of Engineering (Lateral Entry). The authority only conducts entrance exam for lateral entry. No examination will be organized for the 1st year of Engineering & Pharmacy.  Haryana DET is the state level entrance process to offer the various specializations of the diploma courses in engineering in the state of Haryana. Candidates can offer admission on the basis of inter merit of the qualifying exam.

Haryana DET Online Registration 2025

Candidates can register for the Haryana DET through online mode from our website. Haryana Polytechnic Application Form 2025 will be issued from the third week of April 2025. Candidates can fill the application until the third week of June 2025. Keep the print copy of the filled application form & send it to the nearby collection center or HSTES, Panchkula. Send the printout of filled application along with the self-attested copy of all the relevant documents & fee receipt.

Application Fee

Candidates have to submit Rs. 500  and Rs. 200 for reserved category as an application fee. The fee can be paid online (credit card/debit card/net banking) or e-Challan.

Haryana DET Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria are given below:

Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply.

Qualification:

 Diploma Engineering: Candidates have to complete their 10th/SSC examination from a recognized board. The Candidates pass the above examination with Mathematics & Science subjects. The Eligibility of Candidates has to score a minimum of 35% marks and 33% marks for SC/ST/KM category in the examination.

 Lateral Entry in Diploma Engineering: Student Should  Pass the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board. Candidates to qualify the above examination with PCM subjects. Candidates have to secure a minimum of 35% marks in the above examination.

Exam Pattern for DET (LE)

The exam pattern of lateral entry course is given here:

• Exam Mode: The exam will be organized through offline mode (pen-paper mode).
• Language: The question paper will be asked in English & Hindi language both.
• Type of Question: The questions will be objective types.
• No. of Questions: Total 100 questions will be asked in the examination.
• Duration: The duration of the exam will be 1 hour 40 minutes.
• Marking Scheme: For the correct response, one mark will be awarded to the candidates.
• Negative Marking: No mark will be deducted for an incorrect response.

Syllabus for Haryana DET

The syllabus will be based on the metric standard of Board of School Education Haryana. The syllabus will comprise topics of English, Aptitude and General Awareness Test, Mathematics, Science. The topics are given below:

Science: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

English: Candidates’ ability to understand correct English, his basic comprehension and writing ability, the error, fill in the blanks, synonyms, antonyms, spelling/detecting misspelled words, idioms & phrases, one-word substitution, improvement of sentences.

Aptitude: Computation of whole numbers, decimals fractions, and relationships between numbers, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion, Square roots, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Partnership Business, Mixture and Allegation, Time and distance, Time & Work, Basic algebraic identities. Venn Diagrams, Drawing inferences, Punched hole/pattern –folding & un-folding, Figural Pattern – folding and completion, Indexing, Address matching, Date & city matching, Classification of centre codes/roll numbers, Small & Capital letters/numbers coding, decoding and classification, Embedded Figures, Critical thinking, Emotional Intelligence, Social Intelligence. Haryana DET 2025 Answer Key

Haryana State Technical Education Society has published Haryana DET 2020 Answer Key on the 3rd week of May.  HSTES has successfully carried out the Diploma Entrance Test for getting admission to  Diploma (Engg), Diploma (Engg) Lateral Entry, Diploma in Pharmacy at Government and Private Polytechnic institutes across the state for the academic session 2020. Haryana DET Admit card

HP PAT admit card is available online on the official website of the Haryana Diploma Entrance Test (DET). Previously, the admit card was available from Mid-May 2020. The link for the admit card was provided on the official website of Haryana DET. The candidates should fill valid login id and password in the text field provided for the login id and password. The admit card will contain information about the candidate such as the name of the candidate, roll number of the candidate and date of birth, etc. Those students who appear for CBSE board will get the percentile that is

The admit card will contain information about the candidate such as the name of the candidate, roll number of the candidate and date of birth, etc. Those students who appear for CBSE board will get the percentile that is CGPA and thus for the merit list, the students have to convert their CGPA or percentile into the percentage form. The percentage will be used to calculate the merit rank of the candidate in the merit list. It is a candidate’s responsibility to keep get their percentage displayed on the merit list.

The merit list has been prepared on the basis of the marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying examination. The merit list has been posted in the official portal for Haryana DET admissions. On the basis of the merit list, the candidate will get admission in their filled choice. Candidates were not allowed to enter the examination hall without admit card and no admit card was sent to the registered candidates via post.

Haryana DET Result

The result for Haryana DET will be declared in the last week of May 2020. The result will be declared by the conducting authority that is the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES). The candidates whose results satisfy the cutoff condition and perform well in Haryana DET be called for the further counseling process. There was no re-checking or re-evaluation of answers of the entrance exam.

Haryana DET Cut off 2025

The cut-off marks are decided by the organizing team, at the time of result announcement. There are several factors that may affect the cut-off mark, such as difficulty level of the paper, no of seats available for course, no of candidates appeared for exam and etc. Candidates with marks lower than the defined cut-off will be eliminated directly from the rank list.

Haryana DET Counseling 2025

counseling procedure will be started after the declaration of the result. Haryana DET Counseling 2020 will be held through online mode. Candidates have to register for the counseling & pay the counseling fee. During the counseling, candidates have to fill course choices & colleges as per their preference. The counseling fee is Rs. 500.  The counseling will be conducted in two rounds. On the basis of inter-se-merit & filled choices, the seat will be allotted to the candidates.

Haryana DET Admission

After getting a seat, candidates have to report to the allotted institution to confirm their seats. Candidates must bring their original documents at the time of admission. In case, candidates unable to report to the allotted college within a given time period, their seats will be canceled.
