GATE 2021 News: GATE Notification 2021 has released. Candidates who are interested for the exam has to check the eligibility criteria and  to fill the online application form. Registration starts on the 14th September, 2020 and last date for submission of forms is 30th September 2020 for GATE Exam 2021. Check the application form,eligibility criteria in this site.

GATE Notification 2021

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a National Level Entrance Test. It is being conducted for  M. Tech./M.E./PhD Programmes in IITs, IISERs, IISc and other known Institutes of India. GATE 2021 will be conducted in February 5th, 6th, 7th, 12th, 13th, 14th Febuary 2021.  GATE score is important for the recruitment in government and private organisations.  Latest updates are available in this website.

About GATE (Graduate AptitudeTest in Engineering)

GATE is basically an examination on the comprehensive understanding of the candidates in various UG (undergraduate) subjects in Engineering/Technology/ Architecture & PG (post-graduate) level subjects in Science. GATE 2021 Exam will be conducted for 25 subjects (also referred to as “papers”) and it would be distributed over 6th, 7th, 13th, 14th Feb 2021. The GATE exam centres are spread in different cities across India, as well as, in six cities outside India. The exam would be purely a CBT (Computer Based Test).

The GATE score would reflect the relative performance level of the student in a particular subject, which is quantified based on the several yrs of exam data. Note that the GATE 2021 marks score is valid for 3 YEARS from the date of announcement of the exam results.

It is important to check the GATE 2021 eligibility criteria before you fill the GATE application form is given below:

Age Limit: There is no age limit to attempt GATE examination.

Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian national. Besides that, candidates from Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, UAE and Singapore are also eligible for GATE.

Pass %: There is no min pass percentage criteria in the qualifying examination to apply for GATE 2021.

Educational Qualification: All the candidates must have passed their respective qualifying examinations or can be in the final year of the course except for few courses.

How to Apply:

Scanned photograph and the signature has to be uploaded. Application fee has to through the online. For this whole process there is a period of one month.

Registration process:

Following are the steps to apply for the GATE 2021 Exam.

  • Go to the official website
  • Click on apply link for GATE 2021.
  • Register yourself by providing your full name, valid email ID, mobile number, and password. After successful registration, candidates will be provided with an Enrollment ID. Log in using your enrollment ID and password.
  • Enter your Personal Information.
  • Give your postal address along with PIN code.
  • Enter your Academic Details.
  • Enter the name & address of your college along with PIN code.
  • Enter the GATE subject (paper) you want to appear for and choice of examination cities.
  • Upload scanned images of your Photograph, Signature, Eligibility Certificate and other documents in the necessary format and size.
  • Next, Make payment of GATE application fees and hit on Submit your application
  • Finally Take a hard copy of your GATE online application form for future usage.

Application Fee: For Female, SC/ST/PwD candidates application fee is 750/- and all other category candidates fee is 1500/- and for international candidates the fee should be US dollars 50.
