The IBPS Clerk examination consists of two common written exams (CWE): IBPS Clerk Prelims exam and the IBPS Clerk Mains exam.

IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern 2024

The IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern will be two Stages with the online examination will be held in two phases as Preliminary and Main. Candidates who will qualify for the Preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for the Main examination. The Preliminary Examination will be conducted via online mode. The Prelims exam consists of 100 objective type questions of 100 marks & 3 sections. The Main Examination will be conducted online. The IBPS Clerk Mains paper consists of 190 Qs of 200 marks in 160 minutes.

IBPS Clerk’s previous year pattern the overall increase of 25 minutes is introduced in the IBPS Clerk exam this year. The changes brought by the Authority now as computer knowledge is clubbed with Reasoning Ability, this section carries 50 Questions of  60 Marks in 45 minutes.

Note: There will be a 0.25 Negative Marking for every wrong answer.

IBPS Cleck 2024 Selection Procedure

IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern: The IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern will be two Stages with the online examination will be held in two phases as Preliminary and Main. Candidates who will qualify the Preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for the Main examination. Depending on the vacancies to be filled in during the financial year 2024 based on the business needs of the Participating Organizations and as reported to IBPS, candidates shortlisted will be provisionally allotted to one of the Participating Organizations keeping in view the spirit of Govt. Guidelines on reservation policy, administrative convenience, etc.
