UPMT 2024 Application Form
Applications will be available on the official website of the Examination Board. We have provided you the process of how to apply for the application form.
- Candidates are requested to visit the official website of the University.
- On the web page, click on the link “UPMT 2024 Online Application Form”.
- Applicants are advised to register themselves and after the registration, the part is completed.
- After registration, login with the generated ID and password.
- Candidates need to fill the required fields in the application form.
- Upload your Photograph and Signature.
- Applicants are advised to check whether the details entered in the application form are correct or not.
- On successful completion of the Application form, candidates should submit the duly filled application form along with necessary documents to the university.

UPMT 2024 Exam Papers & Subjects
The Uttarakhand Pre-Medical Test (UPMT) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU) for admission into medical and dental courses in various colleges and universities of Uttarakhand.
The UPMT exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from the following subjects:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology (Botany and Zoology)
The exam pattern for UPMT has changed in recent years. Previously, the exam had 200 questions with 50 questions from each subject. However, as of the last conducted exam in 2016, the exam has been replaced by the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
Therefore, there are no UPMT exam papers available for recent years. Students interested in pursuing medical and dental courses in Uttarakhand can appear for the NEET exam instead.

UPMT Syllabus 2024 Exam Duration, marks
The exam duration for UPMT was 3 hours and it consisted of 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs) covering topics from Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. Each correct answer carried 1 mark and there was no negative marking for incorrect answers.
However, it is important to note that the UPMT exam was discontinued after 2015 and was replaced by the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Therefore, the exam duration and marking scheme may have changed for the current NEET exam.
UPMT 2024 Negative Marking Scheme
The UPMT exam has been discontinued and replaced by the NEET exam as the common entrance test for admission to medical and dental courses in India.
However, if you are referring to the UPMT exam that was conducted previously, the negative marking scheme for the exam was as follows:
- For each correct answer, 1 mark was awarded.
- For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks were deducted.
- No marks were deducted for unanswered questions.
