TMISAT full form is Tolani Maritime Institute of Science Aptitude Test 

About TMISAT 

Tolani Maritime Institute is also known as TMI is a maritime college in Induri, Pune, Maharashtra, India which was established in 1998. It has about 1,500 students in its campus-based and distance learning programmes.

TMI and its courses are approved by the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS), which is responsible for maritime administration and for overseeing maritime education and training in India.

TMI is a member of the Association of Maritime Education and Training Institutions in Asia-Pacific (AMETIAP). The goal of AMETIAP, which has over 85 members, consisting of maritime training institutions throughout the Asia-Pacific region, is to foster cross-border co-operation and to improve the quality of maritime training and education.

TMISAT 2024 Exam Dates

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have passed 10+2 from any recognized Board with 60% marks with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• Candidates should be qualified in the IMU CET Exam.

TMISAT 2024 Application Form

Candidates applying for the admissions should follow the below-mentioned steps while filling the application form. Applications are to be filled through online mode.

• Visit the official website of the University.
• Click on “Apply Online”.
• Click on New Registration.
• Enter the details such as Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Email ID, Phone Number etc.
• After the registration part is completed, the applicants will be provided with new User ID and Password.
• Login with the credentials and fill the remaining application part such as Educational Qualification, Caste, Address.
• Upload Scanned Photo & Signature, Thhum impression in prescribed size.
• Upload the required documents as mentioned in the application form.
• Make the fee payment through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card or Demand Draft.

TMISAT Admit Card

The Institute will issue an Admit Card. Candidates will not be allowed to attend the exam without the admit card. The Admit Card will be released 1 week before the exam commences. Here are the steps to download the TMISAT Admit Card.

• Visit the official website of the University.
• Click on “TMISAT” Admit Card link.
• Login with user ID and password.
• Enter your application number and Date of Birth.
• Check all the details mentioned in the Admit Card are correct or not.
• Download the Admit Card and take a printout of it.

The following details are mentioned in the Admit Card :

• Candidate’s Name
• Date of Birth
• Gender
• State Code
• Category
• Date & Time of the Exam
• The venue of the Exam Centre
• Passport Size Photograph
• Signature

TMI Selection Process

• TMI Selections is a bit different one. Candidates first need to apply for the applications on the official website of the University.
• Collect the Admit Card for the Written Exam.
• Qualified candidates in IMU CET 2024 have to appear for TMI SAT Exam 2024.
• Those who have cleared the written exam are eligible for the Interview Round.
• Shortlisted candidates in the Interview Round will be called for Medical Test.
• Display of merit list and Counselling will be conducted for the candidates.

TMISAT Exam Pattern

• The Exam will be conducted in Online.
• 80 Multiple Choice Questions will be asked in the Exam.
• Duration of the Exam is for 1 Hour.
• No Negative Marking for the incorrect answers.

The Syllabus will be based on the topics covered in Class 11 & Class 12.

Personal Interview

• Based on the performance in the Entrance Exam, candidates will be selected for the Interview.
• On the same day, after the written exam, Interview Round will be scheduled.
• The panel looks for candidates, with qualities such as Clarity of thought, Skills, Leadership potential, Maturity and Reasoning abilities.

TMISAT 2024 Results

The results are expected to be released in the month of June 2024. Candidates can check their results on the official website of the University. All qualified candidates have to attend the Counseling Process. Steps to be followed to check out the results :

• Enter your Roll Number & Date of Birth to access the result.
• The result will appear on the screen.
• Download and take a printout of it which will be useful during the counselling process.

TMISAT Counselling

Counselling will be conducted in the Offline Process. All the qualified candidates have to attend the Counselling Process at the reported Venue as per the Schedule. Seats will be allotted to the candidates who meet the cut off marks and are physically fit. Counselling Process will consist of Document Verification followed by Medical Test.
