Eligibility and Application
Individuals that are considered eligible for the UPCAT should be any one of the following:
- A 12th grade student of any secondary school that is accredited by the Department of Education;
- A graduate of any secondary school that is accredited by the Department of Education, or of any secondary school found abroad; or
- Any individual that has been declared eligible to enter college according to the Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) results.
In addition, graduates must not have taken and must not be taking any college subjects. They should not plan to take any college subjects before the semester or academic year of the UPCAT.
The deadline for filing of applications is announced regularly, and is usually in late July to early August.
The UPCAT can only be taken once by an applicant. Any applicant who has taken the UPCAT is ineligible to take it more than once.
Application Procedure
Keen aspirants may obtain the Dental BDS application form from any of the participating colleges on a payment of Rs.1000/- in cash from 1st April onwards. Candidates are supposed to fill up this form accurately and to be enclosed with all necessary credentials as mentioned in the information brochure. All these must be put together in an envelope and sent to the below mentioned address before the last date through ordinary post.

As the premier State University, the University of the Philippines offers a wide range of degree programs. Some degree programs are offered in only one campus (e.g., BS Nursing, BA Filipino) while others are offered in two or more campuses (e.g., B Fine Arts, BS Statistics).
