About Rajendra Agricultural University

Rajendra Agricultural University is one of the 26 agricultural universities in India located near Pusa Bazaar, in Samastipur District, Bihar. This university comprises five faculties of agriculture, veterinary & animal science, agricultural engineering, basic sciences, humanities & home sciences. The university offers six undergraduate degree programs, thirty-three postgraduate programs, and eighteen Ph.D. programs. It is also the only university to provide an MBA in Agribusiness program. Understanding the need and importance of sound knowledge in agriculture RAU provides various extension services that aim at extending expertise from the laboratory to the field. Since its inception to this very day, this university has been contributing to the field of agricultural education and research.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate for admission should be passed 10+2 or Equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as their main subjects from a recognized board of education for UG courses. For PG courses The candidate for admission is required to have graduated and a bachelor’s degree in any discipline obtained through the 10+2+3 system or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
