About CIPET

Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology, Ranchi (CIPET Ranchi) (Hindi: केंद्रीय प्लास्टिक अभियांत्रिकी एवं प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, रांची ) is an autonomous public learning and research institution located at Hehal, Ranchi the capital city of Jharkhand, India. It functions under the department of chemicals and petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India which was established in the year of 2017 and is one of 15 Institute under Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology (India). The Institute offers Doctoral Programme in Polymer Science, Material Science and Plastics Engineering, Masters, Under Graduate Programs in affiliation with Ranchi University, Ranchi accredited by All India Council of Technical Education.

The temporary campus of CIPET Ranchi is located at Hehal on itki Road. It lies near to the educational institute of Women ITI and DAV Public School. The permanent campus is being built over 15 acres of land at knowledge city in khunti near Ranchi.

CIPET 2022 Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates should have passed 10+2 from any recognized Board with minimum 60% marks with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as compulsory subjects. 

CIPET 2022 Application Form

Applications can be completed both offline or online mode. Candidates applying for the admissions should follow the steps below while filling in the application form:

• Visit the official website of the Institute.
• Click on Apply Online.
• Enter details such as Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Email ID, Phone Number for New User Registration.
• After the registration part is completed, the applicants will be provided with a new User ID and Password.
• Login with the credentials and fill in the remaining application parts such as Educational Qualification, Caste, Address.
• Upload Scanned Photo & Signature in prescribed size.
• Upload the required documents as mentioned in the application form.
• Make the fee payment through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card or Demand Draft.

TNEA Counselling

Candidates will be invited for the counselling based on the merit list & marks obtained in the Entrance Exam. In the Counselling Process, candidates will be allotted seats based on preference and marks. After allotment of seats, candidates have to reach the allotted college for admissions. Candidates should carry relevant documents, Seat Allotment Letter & Admission Fee. No direct admission will be given to any of the applicants. If the candidates fail to submit the documents below, their candidature will be canceled.
