AIPGMEE 2024 Application Form

Applications will be available on the official website of the Examination Board. We have provided you the process of how to apply for the application form.

• On the web page, click on the link “AIPGMEE or NEET PG Application Form”.
• Applicants are advised to register themselves and after the registration, part is completed.
• Candidates need to fill the required fields in the application form.
• Upload your Photograph and Signature.
• Applicants are advised to check whether the details entered in the application form are correct or not.
• On successful completion of the Application form, candidates should submit the duly filled application form along with necessary documents to the university.

AIPGMEE 2024 Exam Papers & Subjects

The AIPGMEE (All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination) is an entrance exam for admission to postgraduate medical courses in India. The exam is conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) and covers a wide range of medical subjects.

The AIPGMEE exam consists of 300 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) that are divided into two parts:

Part 1: Pre-Clinical, Para-Clinical and Clinical subjects

• Anatomy
• Physiology
• Biochemistry
• Pathology
• Microbiology
• Pharmacology
• Forensic Medicine
• Social and Preventive Medicine

Part 2: Clinical subjects

• Medicine and Allied subjects (Medicine, Psychiatry, Dermatology, and Venereology)
• Surgery and Allied subjects (Surgery, Anesthesiology, Orthopedics, Radiodiagnosis, and Radiotherapy)
• Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Pediatrics
• Ophthalmology
• Otorhinolaryngology

The exam duration is 3.5 hours, and each correct answer earns 1 mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers. The syllabus for the exam is based on the MBBS curriculum prescribed by the Medical Council of India (MCI).

AIPGMEE Exam Pattern

• The Exam will be in Offline Mode.
• The Questions will be of Multiple Choice Questions.
• The question paper is for 300 Marks.
• The duration of the exam is for 3 hours.
• 1 mark will be awarded for the correct answer.
• No Negative Marking for the wrong answer.

AIPGMEE 2024 Exam Duration, marks

he duration of the AIPGMEE exam was 3 hours and 30 minutes. The total number of questions was 300, and the maximum marks were 1500. The exam was conducted in a computer-based format and consisted of multiple-choice questions.

However, for the NEET-PG exam, the duration is 3 hours 30 minutes, and the exam consists of 300 multiple-choice questions. The maximum marks for the NEET-PG exam are also 1500.

AIPGMEE 2024 Negative Marking Scheme

During the AIPGMEE, there was a negative marking scheme in place. One mark was awarded for each correct answer, while 0.25 marks were deducted for each incorrect answer. If a candidate left a question unanswered, no marks were added or deducted.

For example, if a candidate answered 100 questions, out of which 80 were correct and 20 were incorrect, the total marks would be calculated as follows:

Total marks = (80 x 1) – (20 x 0.25) Total marks = 80 – 5 Total marks = 75

Therefore, the candidate’s total score would be 75 out of a maximum possible score of 100.

It is important to note that the negative marking scheme may vary for different exams, and candidates should always check the exam instructions and guidelines before attempting any exam.
