IBPS PO Selection Procedure

IBPS will make arrangements for conducting online preliminary
examination, declare the result of an online preliminary examination, inform the shortlisted candidates about the online main examination, declare the results of the online main examination and inform the shortlisted candidates about the interview.

Interviews will be conducted by the participating organizations and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT. Prospective candidates will have to apply to IBPS after carefully reading the advertisement regarding the process of examinations, interview, and provisional allotment, eligibility criteria, online registration processes, payment of prescribed application fee/ intimation charges, pattern of examination, issuance of call letters, etc. and ensure that they fulfill the stipulated criteria and follow the prescribed processes.

IBPS PO Call Letters

The Centre, venue address, date and time for both Preliminary and Main examinations and interview shall be intimated in the respective Call Letter. An eligible candidate should download his/her call letter from the authorized IBPS website by entering his/her details i.e. Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth. No hard copy of the call letter will be sent by post/ courier. Call letter for Scribe in the Main Examination: There will be an additional call letter for Scribe for the Main Examination

IBPS PO Pre-Examination

Pre-Examination Training will be arranged for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Minority Communities at certain centers. The training will be imparted to the candidates free of cost whereas all other expenses regarding traveling, boarding, lodging, etc. will have to be borne by the candidate for attending the pre-examination training program.

IBPS PO Interview

Candidates will be shortlisted in the Main examination for CWE PO/MT will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS. Interviews will be conducted at select centers. The center, address of the venue, time & date of Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter. Candidates are required to download their interview call letters from authorized IBPS website. Please note that any request regarding change in date, center, etc. of the interview will not be entertained by the Authority.
