GATE(Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is the national wide exam so the competition is high. The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, and Roorkee) jointly administer the conduct of GATE. GATE 2021 Marking Scheme
GATE 2021 Chemistry paper consist of two different type of questions – MCQ type and the other is Numerical Answer Type (NAT). The marking scheme for these two questions is different from each other. There is negative marking in MCQ type questions whereas there is no negative marking for NAT type questions.
- For 1 marks question in MCQ part, for an incorrect answer, 1/3 marks are deducted
- For 2 marks the MCQ type question, 2/3 marks are deducted for an incorrect answer.
