About Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management
Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management knew as GITAM University is an educational institution in India. It was previously known as GITAM College, affiliated to Andhra University. Established in 1980, it was conferred the status of deemed university in 2007. It was the first private engineering institute in Andhra Pradesh to receive the university status. GITAM is planning on receiving an ABET International Accreditation. The university has three campuses, the main campus at Visakhapatnam spreads over 100 acres, and the other two campuses are at Hyderabad and Bangalore.

Eligibility criteria depend on the educational qualification. For the Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) University admission, eligibility criteria are given below.
UG program: The candidates interested in applying for this program must be holding a minimum of 60 percent aggregate marks, in mathematics, physics and chemistry and first class or equivalent grade, in the qualifying examination.
M-Tech program: The candidates interested in applying for this program must have pursued BE/BTech/AMIE in any branch of engineering or its equivalent.
M-Pharmacy program: The candidates interested in applying for this program must have pursued BPharm, from a recognized university, with a minimum of 50 percent marks or equivalent grade.
