About University

Adikavi Nannaya University was established on 22nd April 2006, by an Act of the Andhra Pradesh State Legislative Assembly to meet the higher education needs of East & West Godavari districts. It is an affiliating residential university with territorial jurisdiction over East & West Godavari districts of Andhra Pradesh. named after the first poet of Telugu culture, Nannaya (the eleventh-century translator of Mahabharata from Sanskrit to Telugu), the court poet of Rajah Rajah Narendra,(the Eastern Chalukya King). The university was established to fulfill the cherished dream of the people of this region, on the sacred banks of River Godavari

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Murru Mutyalu Naidu who has the attitude and the substance of a genius, has persistently and convincingly guided the University to achieve the UGC 12B status and many other activities to bring the University into the limelight. • Diploma 3 years course pass outs
• Inter vocational course pass outs with bridge course and without bridge course
• Inter vocational course of CSE pass outs
• Diploma in Horticulture pass outs
• Diploma course pass outs from Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University
• Inter vocational course of Electrical Engineering Technician and Electronics Engineering Technician pass outs

Adikavi Nannaya University MBA and MCA Admission 2021

Adikavi Nannaya University also offers MCA and MBA programs at the PG level. The basic eligibility for admissions in Masters programs is a minimum aggregate of 50% in bachelor’s degrees. However, for admission to the MBA program, a valid scorecard in any national level entrance exam e.g. CAT/ XAT/ CMAT, etc. is mandatory.

For admission to MCA, the university mandates a total of 50% marks in Mathematics as a subject either at 10+2 or graduation level. However, for admission to MCA, University mandates a valid score in the AP Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET).
