About University
It is a public autonomous law University. Formerly, it was known by the name Andhra Pradesh University of Law (APUL). The law institute located at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. It was established in 2008 by an Act of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly (Act No. 32 of 2008). Its main campus is at Visakhapatnam and two centers, at Kadapa and Nizamabad. It has been conferred the status of a National Law University.

Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should have passed the undergraduate course (10+2+3) or (10+2+4) in any course from a recognized University gaining a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate (50% in case of reserved categories, i.e. SC/ST). The candidates appeared/appearing for the final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible subject to the condition that he/she should have passed with minimum prescribed marks at the time of counseling.
