About APPSC

Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commissions had been established under Article 315 of the Constitution of India. APPSC functions as the Commission which is enumerated in Article 320 of the Constitution. APPSC Commission statutory functions are Direct Recruitment,  Recruitment by transfer, Statutory rules relating to services and Disciplinary cases and regulations, Reimbursement of legal expenses, Wound and extraordinary pension cases.

APPSC Group 1 Syllabus: APPSC Group 1 Exam Details which include the Exam Qualification, Eligibility for the exam, Age limit, Exam Selection Procedure.

• Education Qualification: The Qualification for the Group 1 Exam the candidate must have completed the Graduation/ Bachelor’s Degree in relevant specialization from any recognized university or board with a minimum aggregate of marks.
• Nationality: A candidate must be an Indian citizen.
• Age Limit:  The Age limit for General Candidates the maximum age is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 40 years. For categories of SC/ST candidates, the maximum age limit is 45 years.
• Selection Procedure:  Written examination (Screening Test, Objective Type), Main Written Examination (Conventional Type), Personal Interview.
• Exam Application Fee: The Exam Application Fee For General candidates is Rs. 370 and For SC/ST candidates the a[pplication fee is Rs. 250.

Note: Group 1 Exam has NEGATIVE MARKING For each wrong answer will be penalized with 1/3rd of the marks prescribed for the question.

APPSC Group 1 Syllabus: సెప్టెంబర్ 19న ఏపీపీఎస్సీ కార్యాలయంలో కమిషన్ సభ్యులు జీఎస్ సీతారామరాజు, ప్రొఫెసర్ జింకా రంగజనార్దన, ప్రొఫెసర్ కె.విజయకుమార్, ప్రొఫెసర్ గుర్రం సుజాత, ప్రొఫెసర్ కె.పద్మరాజు, సేవారూప, కమిషన్ కార్యదర్శి ఏకె మౌర్యలతో కలసి ఆయన విలేకరులతో మాట్లాడారు. ‘‘2016 నోటిఫికేషన్లకు సంబంధించి ఉన్న నాన్‌జాయినింగ్ పోస్టులు, భర్తీకాని పోస్టులను ఇప్పుడు కొత్త నోటిఫికేషన్లలో చేర్చి భర్తీచేస్తాం. కొత్త పోస్టుల భర్తీకి 30 నుంచి 40 వరకు నోటిఫికేషన్లు విడుదల చేస్తాం.గ్రూప్1, గ్రూప్2, గ్రూప్3 పోస్టులను 6 నెలలనుంచి ఏడాదిలోపు భర్తీచేస్తాం.15 రోజుల్లోపు రిక్రూట్‌మెంటు క్యాలెండర్ ప్రకటిస్తాం. సిలబస్‌లో మార్పులు చేస్తున్నాం. గ్రూప్1 సిలబస్‌ను త్వరలోనే వెబ్‌సైట్లో పెడతాం. ఈసారి ప్రిలిమనరీ పరీక్షలకు, మెయిన్ పరీక్షకు ఒకే సిలబస్ ఉండేలా చర్యలు తీసుకుంటున్నాం.
