About Adikavi Nannaya University

Andhra University Admission: Andhra University is one of the oldest educational institutions in the country, and also the first to be conceived as a residential and teaching-cum-affiliating University, mainly devoted to post-graduate teaching and research. Andhra University was constituted by the Madras Act of 1926. The 82-year-old institution is fortunate to have Sir C.R. Reddy as its founder Vice-Chancellor.

Admission Procedure

Andhra University Admission: The candidate interested to apply for a given course should forward his/her written request accompanied by a Demand Draft of US $50 or equivalent INR payable to Dean, International Affairs, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, India, enclosing the following documents.

1. Detailed Bio-Data/Resume of the student indicating total years of study, courses are taken, work experience, references, etc.

2. Copies of Transcripts/Marks lists of all the courses taken, Degrees and Diplomas obtained.

3. Copy of the Passport.

4. Award letter of scholarship or sponsorship if applicable.

Andhra University Admission: All these documents should be sent to the Dean, International Affairs, 1^st floor, Science & Technology (Principal’s office, Science & Technology), Andhra University, Visakhapatnam-530003, Andhra Pradesh, India. Initially, the International Students will be given provisional admission to obtain student Visa from the Indian Embassy in their home country.

Note: Applications will be received throughout the year. The academic year starts in the month of July every year. The total process of admission will take about 3 months’ time, after the receipt of all required documents from the students.
