About AILET

The National Law University, Delhi Conducts AILET 2022 for the Applied candidates to secure admission to BA LLB (Hons), LLM, and Ph.D. programs. The AILET 2022 NLU Delhi will be issuing the admission notification in the first week of January 2022. The Application form will be available in January 2022. The AILET 2020 Test is going to conduct on the 1st week of May 2020, between 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm at various test centers across India.

Application Form

The Application forms for AILET 2022 exam are available from Nov 13, 2021, through online mode. The Starting of the online application is in the 1st week of January 2022 and the closing of the Online Application is on April 07, 2022.

  • The availability of AILET Application Form 2022 will be Online or Offline mode. The Candidates can get their application form at the university.
  • The Candidates can submit their application form Online.
  • Candidates have to register themselves first and the AILET 2022 Registration will start from the 1st week of January 2022.
  • Enter all the details in the user registration form on the Official Website.
  • The Register candidates can follow the Admission Procedure of AILET 2022.

Application Fee

Online payment through the gateway of net banking/credit card/debit card. The Application Fee Should be Done Payment Before the Last Date of Application in the 1st week of April 2022.

Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility Criteria for AILET 2022 includes the Age limit & Educational Qualification. you can also check the details of the Admission Process in AILET Admission.

 B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) Course:

  • Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply.
  • Qualification: Candidate must qualify 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board. Must obtain at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam.

LL.M. Course:

  • Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply.
  • Qualification:  Candidate must pass the LL.B. or equivalent degree from a recognized university. Must obtain at least 55% marks in aggregate and 50% for SC/ST/PH candidates.

Ph.D. Course:

  • Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply.
  • Qualification: The candidate must hold a master’s degree in Law from a recognized university.  Must secure 55% marks or its equivalent and 50% marks for reserved categories.

Entrance Test Pattern

The AILET Exam for BA LLB (Hons) course contains 150 questions that aspirants need to complete in 1 hour 30 minutes. AILET 2022 exam has a total of five sections which are English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Legal Aptitude, and Reasoning.

  • AILET 2022 exam has a total of five sections which are English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Legal Aptitude, and Reasoning.
  • The availability of Application Form 2022 will be in Online or Offline mode. Candidates can get their application form at the university. The Candidates can submit their application form Online.

Admission Procedure

Admit Card

The 2020 Admit Card will be declared by the university in the 2nd week of April 2022. Candidates can access the admit card through the website. The Last date to download admits card on May 2022.No candidate will be allowed to appear in the examination hall without Admit Card.

Result

Candidates can check their exam results through our website. The AILET 2022 result will be published in May 2022 for BA. LL.B. and for LL.M. & Ph.D., it will be released in July 2022. Admission will be provided based on the score obtained on the entrance test.

Cutoff Marks

It has the cutoff minimum marks that aspirants need to achieve to secure admission to law programs offered at NLU Delhi. Counselling 2022

The AILET 2022 counseling will be conducted by the National Law University after the announcement of the result. The counseling for admission to various seats will start from the 4th week of June 2022. After the counseling rounds (basis merit lists) of the AILET exam are over, NLU Delhi conducts a Spot Counselling round for those candidates whose names are present in the AILET merit list 2022. After AILET 2022 Spot Counselling round no further admission/counseling rounds are conducted by NLU Delhi.
