Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences Online Application form
Application is common for all courses. A single application will be sufficient for all courses. Student Aadhar Card, Hall Ticket of the Inter or equivalent qualifying examination, SSC Certificate, Recent passport size Photo, Mobile number, Valid E-mail ID, Inter Vocational/CBSE/ICSE/APOSS/NIOS, etc. marks statement – If the candidate studied other than intermediate (regular), Permanent Caste certificate in case of BC/SC/ST candidates issued through E-Seva /Mee-Seva are required for filling the online application form.
The candidate has to pay an amount of Rs. 600/- for OC, BC category, and Rs.400/- for SC/ST category + Rs.50/- process fee in the AP Online/ Mee-Seva centers. No other mode of payment will be accepted.
Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences Eligibility Criteria
Candidates for admission to the graduate courses shall have passed Intermediate (10+2) with Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English core with an aggregate of 45% marks from Board of Intermediate Education or any other recognized board. In the case of SC/ST & Backward class candidates, it shall be, not less than 40% of marks in the above subjects. Inter with optional subjects of MPC is also eligible for B.Sc. (NMT) & DRT courses. Any other qualification awarded by the board of intermediate education equivalent to the specialization offered by the university at the intermediate level is also eligible.
Age Limit: A candidate should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or would complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of admission. The candidates, who are born on or before 31/12/2000 are eligible.
Selection Procedure
Admissions are made based on the academic merit in the qualifying examination in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English with less no. of attempts. In case of a tie, the order of preference to be followed in deciding the merit of the candidate will be:
- Optional subjects (Group) marks secured (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
- Elder person based on the date of birth
