Punjab Scholarship state Government has announced many scholarships to the students who are needy financially. Punjab Scholarship Rewards
The Punjab State Government is giving many scholarships to the students regarding their categories SC/ST/BC Financially backward students, and for the merits students also according to their marks in all subjects. Students who are applying for the scholarship must and should know about which scholarship students are applying for and check the eligibility criteria for that scholarship. Punjab Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
Students of Punjab state who are having interesting to apply for scholarships regarding their education purpose should know the eligibility criteria of a particular scholarship which they are applying for. The following are some points of eligibility criteria for the students given below.
Post Matric Scholarship for SC Students, Punjab:- The students studying at post-matriculation level class 11 to postdoctoral level can apply for this scholarship. The annual income of the family should be less than RS.2.50 Lakh.
Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC Students, Punjab:- The scholarship is open for students of classes 9th and 10th. The annual income of their family should be less than INR 2 Lakh. The students who are in receipt of any other centrally-funded scholarships are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
Post Matric Scholarship for OBC Students, Punjab:- The scholarship is open for students who are pursuing their studies at the post-matriculation level (class 11 to postdoctoral level) at an authorized institution/school. The family income condition is limited to RS.1 Lakh per annum which means the annual income of the family should not exceed RS.1 Lakh.
Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students, Punjab:- The students of class 1st to 10th can apply for this Punjab scholarship. The annual income of the family should be less than RS.44,500 per annum.
Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme:- The scholarship is open for meritorious students of class 10. They must be diploma courses from government polytechnics. The minimum percentage of marks to be obtained by them should be 60percentage or above.
Pre-Matric Scholarship for Minorities, Punjab:- Minority community students (Sikhs, Muslims, Parsis, Christians, Jains, and Buddhists) are eligible to apply for this scholarship. They must be studying in class from 1st to 10th at a government/private school. The minimum percentage of marks to be obtained by them in the last qualifying examination should be 50percentage. The annual family income should not exceed RS.1 Lakh from all sources.
Post-Matric Scholarship for Minorities, Punjab:- The students belonging to the minority community (Sikhs, Muslims, Christians, Jains, Parsis, and Buddhists) are eligible to apply. They must be studying at the post-matriculation level (class 11th to Ph.D. level) from a private/government school/college/university. The annual income of the family should be less than RS.2 Lakh from all sources.
Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for Minorities, Punjab:- Students belonging to the Minority community (Sikhs, Muslims, Christians, Parsis, Jains, and Buddhists) are eligible to apply.
They should be pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree course in Technical, Nursing, Pharmacy, Professional, Management, etc. stream. The minimum percentage of marks to be scored by them in the previous qualifying examination should be 50percentage. The annual income of the family should be less than RS.2.50 Lakh.
Attendance Scholarship for Primary Girl Students of BC/EBC Families, Punjab:- The girl students studying in primary classes can apply for this scholarship. The minimum class attendance should be 75percentage. Their parents/guardians should not have landed more than 5 acres. The annual family income should be less than RS.1 Lakh.
Attendance Scholarship for SC Primary Girl Students, Punjab:- The girl students studying in primary classes can apply for this scholarship. The minimum class attendance should be 75percentage. Their parents/guardians should not be income tax payees and have to land less than 5 acres.
Punjab Scholarship Not Eligibility Criteria
There are some points which are not accepted by the Maharashtra state government for the scholarship. The student who is applying for the scholarship must and should look into these points. The following are some points that are not accepted for the scholarship to apply.
- Students who do not belong to SC/ST/BC categories are not eligible for the scholarship.
- Students who are having 60 percent above in all the subjects are not eligible for the scholarship.
- Students’ parent income is above 1 lakh is not eligible for the scholarship.
- Students should be pursuing in a particular college or university otherwise not eligible for the scholarship.
- The student’s documents should be original if not that candidate is not applicable for the scholarship.
- Students should be a resident of Punjab if not eligible for the scholarship.
Documents required for the Scholarship
Students who are applying for the scholarship should have the following documents. The following are the documents that are required for the scholarship as given below.
- Students Id proof
- Aadhaar Card
- Income certificate
- Caste certificate
- receipt of fees of the students in which students are studying
- Scanned photograph of the student
- The original document of the students
- Study certificate
- Marks list of the previous year

The application process to submit
