Maharashtra Scholarship 2020-21

The Government of Maharastra announced the scholarships for the state students of the OBC, SC, ST, and for financially back people. Maharashtra Scholarship Rewards

The following are the different types of scholarships provided by the State government of Maharastra for the students who are needy for the scholarship. The following is the tabular form given below.

Maharashtra Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

There are some eligibility criteria for the scholarship of the Maharastra government. Students who are applying for the scholarship must and should fulfill the eligibility criteria given below for all categories of students OBC/SC/ST and financially backward people. The following are some points students must fulfill the eligibility criteria.

Government of India Post-Matric Scholarship:- The annual income should be less than or equal to RS. 2.5 Lakh. The student should belong to SC Category or Navbouddha category. The student must be a resident of Maharashtra. The student should have passed SSC/equivalent matric. Only two professional courses are allowed.

Post Matric Tuition Fee and Examination Fee (Free ship):- The annual income should not exceed above RS.2.5 Lakh. The student’s category should be SC Category or Neo Buddhist. The student should be a resident of Maharashtra. The student should have passed SSC/equivalent matric. The student’s institute should be located in Maharashtra authorized by the Government. The students should be admitted by through CAP round only for Professional Courses.

Maintenance Allowance for Students Studying in Professional Courses:- The students should be admitted to professional courses. The students must and should be the scholarship holder of the Government of India. The family annual income should less than or equal to RS.2.5 Lakh. The students who are studying in the professional curriculum and residing in Hostel (Government or Institutes Hostel or outside).

Rajarshri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Merit Scholarship:- The student should belong to SC category. There is no income limit for the scholarship. Students must be studying in class 11th or 12th. Students should secure 75 percent and above in class 10th. The student should be a resident of Maharashtra.

Post-Matric Scholarship for students with Disability:-  The students who are disabled are eligible to apply. (40 percent or above) The students should be residents of Maharashtra. The students should be studying at a recognized university or institute. The scholarship will not be applicable if the candidate fails or quits the same course.

Scholarship to Meritorious Students Possessing Mathematics/Physics:- The students should secure at least 60 percentage in the Science exam and more than 60 percentage in Maths & Physics in Class 12th. The Maharashtrian students studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme. The applicant must be a resident of Maharashtra State.

Government Vidyaniketan Scholarship:- The student should secure 60 percent marks in the class 10th examination. The student should have passed the class 10th exam from the State Government Vidyanikethan only. The Maharashtrian students studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme. The applicant must be a resident of Maharashtra State.

Maharashtra Scholarship Not Eligibility Criteria

There are some points that are not accepted by the Maharashtra state government for the scholarship. The student who is applying for the scholarship must and should look into these points. The following are some points that are not accepted for the scholarship to apply.

  1. Students who do not belong to SC/ST/BC categories are not eligible for the scholarship.
  2. Students who are having 60 per cent above in all the subjects are not eligible for the scholarship.
  3. Students’ parent income is above 1 lakh is not eligible for the scholarship.
  4. Students should be pursuing in a particular college or university otherwise not eligible for the scholarship.
  5. The student’s documents should be original if not that candidate is not applicable for the scholarship.
  6. Students should be a resident of Maharastra if not eligible for the scholarship.

Students who are applying for the scholarship should have the following documents. The following are the documents that are required for the scholarship as given below.
