Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship is having two types the pre-matric and post-matric scholarships. This scholarship is only applicable to the students who are belonging to the SC/ST/OBC category and who are financially backward. Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship Rewards
The main aim of this scholarship is to support the students who are financially backward to educate their studies. There are different types of scholarships according to the eligibility criteria of the student’s different rewards are provided to the students. The following are the different scholarship names and rewards which are given below in the tabular form.

Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
Students who are applying for the Dr. Ambedkar scholarship should check the eligibility criteria which is announced by the Punjab State Government. The following are the eligibility criteria points to be remembered for the scholarship which is given below.
- Students who are belonging to the SC/ST/OBC category are eligible for the scholarship.
- Students who are belonging to the General category are eligible for the post-matric scholarship of the Dr. Ambedkar scholarship.
- The annual income of the family should be 1 lakh from all sources.
- The candidate cant apply for the scholarship twice.
- A candidate who is pursuing currently under the scholarship can have reimbursement for non-refundable fees only. A special reimbursement of Rs.900 other than a scholarship will be provided in a year for books and other stationery items.

Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship Not Eligibility Criteria
Students who are waiting to apply for the Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship should know the not eligibility criteria announced by the State Government of Punjab. the following are the not eligibility criteria points to be remembered while applying for the scholarship which is given below.
- Students who are not belonging to the SC/ST/OBC category are not eligible for the Dr, Ambedkar Scholarship.
- Students who are not residents of Punjab are not eligible for the Scholarship.
- Students cant applies the scholarship for twice.
- The annual income should not be above 1 lakh.

Documents Required For the Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship
The following are the documents to be submitted to the Government of Punjab while you are applying for the scholarship. The required documents are given below which are declined by the State Government of Punjab.
- Currently Pursuing class details.
- 10thand 12th classes mark sheet and pass certificate.
- caste certificate.
- Passport size photograph of the candidate.
- Fee receipt of the current studies.
- Residential/Domicile certificate.
- Income certificate.
- PAN card
- Complete Bank account details with a copy of the passbook.
- Study certificate of previous year’s mark sheet.
