About  Centralised Admission Committee

Centralized Admission Committee conducts admissions for various undergraduate courses in the field of engineering, pharmacy, offered in various government institutions in Puducherry.  There will be no entrance test conduct by the authority. Candidates will get admission on the basis of their performance in the 10+2 or equivalent board examination.

CENTAC Provides the Admission to the first year M.B.B.S, B.A.M.S, B.D.S, B.V.Sc & A.H, B.P.T, B.Sc(Nursing), B.Sc. (MLT), B.Tech, B.Pharm, B.A LL.B, LLB, B.Sc(Agriculture) & B.Sc(Horticulture) Degree courses offered by the Colleges run by the Government/Societies of the Government and seats offered by the Other States are done by the Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Government of Puducherry.

CENTAC 2021 Application Form

How To Apply:

• The Centralised Admission Committee 2021 Application Form available for the Candidates to apply in online mode only. The application form will be available online from May 2021.
• Submit all required documents in the Application Form. After submitting all details in the form of Admission students required to upload the scanned copy of the photograph and signature.
• After the Registration process completion Print the Application as a Hard copy.

Application Fee For CENTAC 2021

The Application Fee for the  Admission is based on the course selected by the student. The Application Fee is applied for UG courses below, Candidates can submit the fee Payment of the Application fee can be pay through online mode. The Payment of Application Fee is refundable.

CENTAC Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility Criteria for CENTAC Admission 2021 which includes the Age limit for Admission in Degree Courses 2024, CENTAC Admission Qualification as follows. The Following Group or Category of Courses list is the Eligibility for the Centralised Admission Committee.

Age Limit: The candidate’s lower age limit is 17 years and the upper age limit is 21 years.

Nationality: The Candidate Should be Indian for Admission.

Permitted Appearances in the Qualifying Examination: For the Category of SC is  3 Appearances and for the Other category is  2 attempts

Qualification:

• B.Tech: Candidate Should Qualify 12^th or equivalent examination with no less than 45% marks and 40% for reserved categories with Mathematics, Physics and one of the following optional subjects of Bio-Technology/ Chemistry/Biology/ Computer Science.
• BV.Sc. & Animal Husbandry & BPT: Candidates should pass a Higher Secondary or equivalent examination from a recognized board with no less than 50% marks and 40% marks for reserved category.
• BAMS: Candidate should Qualify 12 with Chemistry, Physics, and Biology & English subjects individually. And they must clear the qualifying examination with minimum of 50% marks as General & OBC with 45% for BCM/ OBC/ EBC/ MBC/OPH and 40% for BT/ SC & OPH category.
• B.Pharma: Candidate should qualify 12 or equivalent examination with not less than 45% marks As 40% for reserved categories with Physics, Chemistry as necessary subjects and any one of the following optional subjects of Mathematics, Biology/ Computer Science/ Bio/-Technology.
• B.Sc Nursing: Candidate Should Qualify 12^th or equivalent examination with no less than 45% marks and 40% marks for reserved categories with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English subjects.
• B.Sc (MLT): Candidate Should Qualify 12^th or equivalent exam with Chemistry, Biology, Physics and English subjects obtaining not less than 50% marks and 40% marks for reserved categories.

CENTAC Cutoff & Merit List

The CENTAC authority will prepare the merit list for admission on the basis of candidates’ marks scored in the qualifying examination. Candidates can check the merit list online through the official website of CENTAC.

CENTAC 2021 Counseling

The centralized Admission Committee of Counselling 2021 will be conducted for the rank holders. The Candidates have to register for counseling on the official website. The counseling will start from August 2021 through offline mode. Before the counseling process, candidates will be called for document verification through SMS/Email.

The Qualified Students will be called for counseling as per their preferences are given in the application form as per the streams of Students and Rank Qualified Exam. The Qualified Candidates have to pay the required admission processing fee through the online payment gateway in order to participate in the counseling process.

CENTAC Admission Procedure

After the completion of the counseling process, the conducting Board will prepare a seat allotment list. Admissions are based on the marks secured by candidates in the prescribed subjects of the qualifying examination and then normalizing the same.
