Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has released applications for admissions in B.Tech & B.Arch. Application forms are available in the month of January, 2022. Admissions will be given to the candidates based on the candidate’s performance in the Entrance Exam (AMUEEE) conducted by the University. The Exam date is scheduled for May 2022. About Aligarh Muslim University

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is an Indian public central university. It was originally established by Sir Syed Ahmad Khan as Mohammedan Anglo-Oriental College in 1875. The College became Aligarh Muslim University in 1920. The main campus of AMU is located in the city of Aligarh. It has its three off-campus centers at Malappuram (Kerala), Murshidabad (West Bengal) and Kishanganj (Bihar). The university is an Institute of National Importance provided under the Seventh Schedule of the Constitution at its commencement.

Aligarh Muslim University is a residential university with 13 faculties, 7 constituent colleges (5 colleges academic programs), 15 centers, 3 institutes, and 10 schools. Recently[when?] the university opened the faculty of International Studies.

AMU was ranked 801-1000 in the QS World University Rankings of 2018. The same rankings ranked it 238 in Asia and 161-170 among BRICS nations. AMUEEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as compulsory subjects from any recognized Board.
• Minimum 60% marks in Classes 10th & 12th.

AMUEEE 2022 Application Form

Candidates can fill in the applications through online or offline mode. Candidates applying for admission should follow the steps below while filling out the application form:

• Visit the official website of the Institute. i.e., www.amu.ac.in
• Click on Apply Online.
• Enter details such as Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Email ID, Phone Number for New User Registration.
• After the registration part is completed, the applicants will be provided with a new User ID and Password.
• Login with the credentials and fill in the remaining application parts such as Educational Qualification, Caste, Address.
• Upload Scanned Photo & Signature in prescribed size.
• Upload the required documents as mentioned in the application form.
• Make the fee payment through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card or Demand Draft.

AMUEEE 2022 Admit Card

Candidates who have applied for the applications of AMUEEE 2022 can download the admit card from the official website of the Institute. Candidates will not be allowed to attend the Exam without the Admit Card. The Admit Card will be released 1 week before the exam commences. Here are the steps to download the AMUEEE Admit Card.

• Visit the official website of AMU.
• Login with user ID and password.
• Click on the “AMUEEE” Admit Card link.
• Enter your application number and Date of Birth.
• Check all the details mentioned in the Admit Card are correct or not.
• Download the Admit Card and take a printout of it.

AMUEEE 2022 Result

Candidates can check their results on the official website of the University. All qualified candidates have to attend the Counseling Process. Steps to be followed to check out the results:

• Select your Course
• The result will appear on the screen.
• Download and take a printout of it which will be useful during the counselling process.

AMUEEE 2022 Cut Off

Cut Off marks are the minimum marks required to get admission in various Engineering Courses at the University. The Cut off marks will be calculated based on the following factors:

• The total number of candidates appearing for the Exam.
• The difficulty of the Exam.
• Number of Seats.
• Candidate’s Performance Level

AMUEEE 2022 Exam Pattern & Syllabus

• The Exam is a Computer Based Test.
• A total of 150 Objective Type Questions will be asked.
• Duration of the Exam is 3 hours.
• 1 mark will be awarded for the correct answer.
• No Negative Marking for the wrong answer.
