Punjab Technical University is a State University located at Kapurthala highway, Jalandhar, India. Punjab technical university will not organize any entrance exam to get admission into UG & PG courses in the university & its affiliated colleges. It only conducts a centralized counseling.

Punjab Technical university only conducts the centralized counseling for the Qualified candidates. Application form for all courses is issued from May 2019. Following we provide the Online Application form for PTU 2019 Exam.

How To Apply:

• The Punjab Technical University 2019 Application Form available for the Candidates to apply in online mode only. The application form will be available Online from May 2019.
• Submit all required documents in the Application Form. After submitting all details in the form of entrance test student required to upload the scanned copy of photograph and signature.
• After the Registration process completion Print the Application as a Hard copy. The Candidates have to fill the admission form & pay the counseling fee.

Registration Fee For PTU 2019

The Registration Fee is  Rs. 2000 for all categories. The Application Fee is applied for Counseling Candidates can submit the fee Payment of the Application fee can be pay through online mode. The Payment of Application Fee is refundable.

PTU Exam 2019 Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility Criteria for Candidates which includes the Age limit for Punjab Technical University Admission 2019, PTU Admission Qualification as follows. Category of Courses list is the Eligibility for the Punjab Technical University Admission.

Qualification:

• B.Tech: The Candidate Should Pass 10+2 examination or Diploma from any engineering stream with the subjects to Qualify in12th exam with Mathematics & Physics. The Candidate should have the Valid JEE Main 2019 Score Card.
• M.Tech: The Candidate Should Pass B.E/B.Tech degree from any engineering stream Qualify exam with at least 50% marks and 45% marks in case of SC/ST category. The Candidate should have the Valid GATE Score Card.
•  MBA: The candidate Should have the Qualification of  3 years bachelor’s degree in any stream from any recognized college or university. The Candidates should have secured 50% for general and 45% for reserved categories.
• B.Pharm: The candidate Should Pass 10+2 examination with the subjects of Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subject along with one of the Mathematics/Computer Science/ Biology/Biotechnology or equivalent.

 Cutoff & Merit List

The Punjab Technical University authority will prepare the merit list for admission on the basis of candidates’ marks scored in the qualifying examination. Candidates can check the merit list online through the official website of PTU 2019.

PTU 2019 Result

The Result will be available from Punjab Technical University in online mode declared as available on the official website. Candidates can check their PTU Admission 2019 result by entering roll number. Merit list will be declared after the results official available on the institute’s website.

PTU 2019 Counseling

Punjab Technical University of Counselling 2019 will be conducted for the rank holders. The Candidates have to register for counseling on the official website. The counseling will be started from the July 2019 through offline mode. Before counseling process, candidates will be called for the document verification.

Reservation

The percentage 85 seats will be reserved for the permanent residence of Punjab state and 15% seats will be reserved for all candidates who belong to the outside state of Punjab. If any candidate belongs to the reserved category, they will be eligible to make a claim for reservation.

Admission Procedure

After the completion of the counseling process, the conducting Board will prepare a seat allotment list. Admissions are based on the marks secured by candidates in the prescribed subjects of the qualifying examination and then normalizing the same. The Candidates have to report to the allotted college within a given time frame. B.Tech admission will be based on JEE Main 2019 rank.  B.Arch admission will be based on NATA score.
