M.Tech & Ph.D. Programs are available through Part-Time Mode.  The University offers Courses and Admissions only to Female Candidates. Admissions to these courses will be based on the Scores obtained in various National Level Entrance Exams. Admissions to B.Tech & B.Arch Courses (IGDTUW प्रवेश) will be given based on JEE Main Scores. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Joint Admission Counselling (JAC). About IGDTUW

Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) is a women’s university located in New Delhi, India on the heritage campus of Delhi College of Engineering at Kashmere Gate, Delhi. It was founded as the Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology in 1998. In May 2013 it gained autonomy and became the first women’s technical university in India established by Govt. of Delhi. The university offers B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. programs in four branches of engineering i.e. in the field of Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical and Automation Engineering, and Information Technology. The five years program in Bachelor of Architecture and Planning started in 2015.

The university offers undergraduate Bachelor of Technology courses in four different fields. It also offers an undergraduate Bachelor of Architecture course and various postgraduate courses as well as a Ph.D. For BTech courses, students are selected through Joint Admission Counseling (JAC) (based on IITJEE MAINS rank). JAC DELHI members comprise 1. Delhi Technological University 2. Netaji Subhas University of Technology 3. Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT, Delhi) 4. Indira Gandhi Delhi Technological University for Women, (IGDTUW).

Eligibility Criteria for IGDTUW Admissions

Candidates should have passed 10+2 from any recognized Board with a minimum 60% aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

IGDTUW 2022 Application Form

Applications can be completed both offline or online mode. Candidates applying for admission should follow the steps below while filling out the application form:

• Visit the official website of the Institute.
• Click on Apply Online.
• Enter details such as Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Email ID, Phone Number for New User Registration.
• After the registration part is completed, the applicants will be provided with a new User ID and Password.
• Login with the credentials and fill in the remaining application part such as Educational Qualification, Caste, Address.
• Upload Scanned Photo & Signature in prescribed size.
• Upload the required documents as mentioned in the application form.
• Make the fee payment through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card or Demand Draft.

IGDTUW 2022 Joint Admission (JAC) Counselling

IGDTUW Admissions: Candidates will be invited for counseling based on the merit list & marks obtained in the JEE Main Entrance Exam. In the Joint Admission Counselling Process, Seats will be allotted based on the preference of colleges selected by the candidates and marks. After allotment of seats, candidates have to reach the allotted college for admissions. Candidates should carry relevant documents, Seat Allotment Letter & Admission Fee. No direct admission will be given to any of the applicants. If the candidates fail to submit the documents below, their candidature will be canceled.
