About Bihar Institute of Law
Bihar Institute of Law is affiliated to Magadh University, Recognised by Bar Council of India for 3 years LL.B. Course and 5 Years B.A.LL.B Course. After getting affiliation with the same from Bar Council of India, New Delhi. Bihar Institute of Law Application Form
The Application Form may be obtained from the office of the Bihar Institute of Law, Patna, after payment of Rs. 500/- (including the Entrance Test Fee) has been made. Form and Prospectus for Entrance Test can also be downloaded from the college website: www.bilpatna.com.The candidates who obtain Form and Prospectus through College website have to attach Bank Draft or pay-in-clip in favor of Bihar Institute of Law, Patna of Rs. 600/-.
The duly filled Application Form, Admit Card and Attendance sheet along with Bank Draft, (Bank Draft to be submitted only by those applicants who have downloaded form and prospectus through the College website) self-attested copies of all Marksheet Certificate (including 10th) & Caste Certificate, PH certificate (if required) be sent to the Principal Bihar Institute of Law, Raja Bazar, Ashiana More, Post – B.V. College, Patna – 800 014. The form should reach to the office of Principal on or before the last date of submission of Form.
For L.L.B: For seeking admission to the three-year Bachelor of Law course offered by the Bihar Institute of Law, candidates must have completed their graduation in any discipline from the recognized institution or university with not less than 45% of marks. The upper age limit to seek admission to this course is restricted to 30 years and relaxation of five years is applicable to SC/ST or other backward community candidates.
For B.A.L.L.B: For getting into the five-year integrated BA LLB course offered by the institute, candidates who have completed their intermediate or higher secondary or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university with not less than 45% of marks are eligible to apply. The upper age limit to apply for this course is 25 years.
Bihar Institute of Law Admission: The admission to LL.B. course will be done strictly in order of the merit list drawn on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the aforesaid Entrance Test However, every candidate must secure a minimum of 40% marks in the entrance test hi order to get admission in LL.B, course in other words, if a candidate gets less than 40% marks on the entrance test, he/she will be disqualified to take admission in LLB. course in-different to any category.
In case of equal marks obtained by two or more candidates in the entrance test, the candidate obtained higher marks in graduation shall be admitted.
In case of equal marks obtained in entrance test & Graduation marks by the two or more candidates the candidate having a higher age to be admitted to the seat.

Important Instructions of the Candidates 2021
- Candidates are advised to reach the Examination Centre half an hour before the
- commencement of the Entrance Test.
- The candidate must carry his/her valid Admit Card for the Entrance Test He/she must
- occupy only his/her allotted seat as per his/her roll number mentioned in the seating plan notified for the Test at the Examination Centre.
- No candidate shall be allowed to leave the Examination Hall till the expiry of the full allotted time for the test
- No candidate shall be admitted to the Examination Hall after the scheduled time of the commencement of the Examination.
- There is no provision to provide or permit a writer/scribe at the Entrance Test except for blind candidates.
- Electronic diary, paper, Calculator, watch calculator mobile phones, digital watches with memory, slide rule or any other electronic gadgets etc. are not allowed in the Examination Hall. Accordingly, the candidates are required not to bring any of these items /articles.
