About APPSC

The A.P. Public Service Commission came into existence on 1st November 1956 with the formation of the State of Andhra Pradesh.  Andhra Public Service Commission was functioning with a Chairman and two Members.  With increasing work load, Government enhanced the strength of the Commission to Chairman and 5 Members in the year 1981 and later to Chairman and 7 Members in the year 1983.

Group 3 Selection Procedure:

• Screening Test
• Main Exam
• Interview

Group 3 Exam Eligibility:

• Nationality: A candidate must be an Indian citizen.
• Age Limit: No person shall be eligible for direct recruitment if the candidate is less than 18 years of age and if the candidate is more than 42 years of age as on 01/07/2016.
• Education Requirements – For applying group 3 the candidate Must have passed the Degree from any University in India.
• Exam Selection: The Final Selection of Candidates For Appointment to The Posts Will Be Based on The Merit In The Computer Based Main Examination.
