UPSC NDA Notification 2024 – Supreme Court has passed an Interim order to the National Defence Academy (NDA) to allowing women candidates to appear in the Upcoming NDA Exam on 10th April 2022. This order was passed on 22nd Dec 2021. UPSC conducts this NDA Exam twice a year for the admission of Army, Navy, Air Force for the National Defence Academy, and the Naval Academy for male eligible candidates. Aspirants are recruited on the basis of written test which was followed by team skills, psychological testing, medical testing, interview. UPSC Online Registration was started on 22nd December 2021. The supreme court has slammed the policy decision of the Army for not permitting women to appear in the NDA Examination and said that it is based on Gender Discrimination. Educational Qualification

So, here we are mentioning the NDA Exam Eligibility below. So, please do refer to this.

  • For the Army Wing of National Defence Academy, the eligibility is a minimum of 12th Class from the State Education Board.
  • And, Ari Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy candidates should have to pass Inter with a Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics of 10+2 pattern of School Education conducted by the State Board.

NDA Exam Eligibility For Female

Candidates are informed not to marry until they complete their full training. So, from now on the female candidates can also apply to this UPSC Naval / National Defence Academy.

NDA Exam Age Limit 2024

Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02nd January 2003 and not later than 1st January 2006 are eligible.

Application Fee

For candidates of SC / ST, NCOs / Sons of JCos the Application Fee is Rs. 100 /-.

  • The Fee which has been once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
  • Candidates can also pay the fee via offline or online mode.
  • Online mode of payment includes Debit, Credit Card.
  • For offline mode, the SBI Bank Challan method will be used to submit the fee.

How to Apply UPSC NDA

For those who don’t know how to apply for the UPSC NDA Notification 2022. UPSC NDA Examination Notification was released on 22/12/2021. So, here are some of the steps to follow. And, also the Commission has introduced the facility of Withdrawal of Application for those candidates who are not interested to appear in the examination. 

Step 1: Visit the official portal of the UPSC NDA

Step 2: Click on the New Registration.

Step 3: Then, fill in all the complete details of the candidates.

Step 4: Pay the application fee there only while filling the application form.

Step 5: Before going to submit the form check the submitted details are correct or not.

Step 6: Submit the application form.

Note: Candidates also have to mention the details of the PAN Card, Passport Size Photo while filling the application form.

How to Download Admit Card

  • To get the Admit Card candidates have to log in to the official site of the UPSC.
  • Then, they have to click on the Admit Card Option on the Screen.
  • Then, they have to enter the login details of the candidates i.e Registration Number and Password.
  • So, Lastly, the admit card will be available on the screen.
  • Candidates may take a photo of that to admit card or take a screenshot of it.
