The TS LAWCET (Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test) is an entrance exam conducted for admission to various law courses in the state of Telangana. The exam is conducted by Osmania University on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). Here are the details regarding TS LAWCET exam papers and subjects:

  • There shall be three parts namely Part A, B an C.
  • A total of 120 questions will be asked in the exam.
  • Students will have to finish the exam in a time duration of 120 minutes.

Telangana LAWCET 2024 Exam Duration, marks

The duration of the TS LAWCET exam is 90 minutes (1 hour and 30 minutes). The exam consists of 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with each question carrying one mark. The total marks for the exam are 120.

The TS LAWCET exam is conducted for admission to 3-year LLB and 5-year Integrated LLB courses offered by various law colleges in Telangana. The exam tests the candidate’s knowledge and understanding of various topics related to the field of law, such as General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs, Aptitude for the Study of Law, and Legal Aptitude.

To qualify for the TS LAWCET exam, candidates need to score a minimum of 35% of the total marks (i.e., 42 marks out of 120 marks). However, the qualifying marks are different for candidates belonging to reserved categories.
