SIU has been given official recognition by the UGC and the AICTE. Symbiosis Entrance Test (सिंबियोसिस प्रवेश परीक्षा ) is a university level entrance test for those students who wish to get admission in various undergraduate courses in Symbiosis International University affiliated institutions.

The Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is an entrance exam conducted by Symbiosis International University (SIU) for admission to its undergraduate programs offered across various campuses of the university. The exam is conducted once a year in the month of May.

The SET exam is conducted in online mode and consists of multiple-choice questions. The exam has four different sections, namely, General English, Quantitative, General Awareness, and Analytical and Logical Reasoning. The duration of the exam is 150 minutes, and there is no negative marking for wrong answers.

The eligibility criteria for appearing in the SET exam vary depending on the program for which a candidate is seeking admission. However, in general, candidates who have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks are eligible to apply for the exam.

SET 2024 Candidate Guidelines

• The Candidates are not allowed to enter the examination hall without admit card, ID proof. Candidates must read and follow the instructions about hall ticket after downloading the admit card.
• Candidates must ensure that the recent colored size photograph will be pasted on the admit card and in the right place also.
• The Candidates’Admit card will be verified by an authorized person against the photo-id on the examination date.
• The Hall Ticket is not transferable to any other person. Impersonation is a legally punishable offense.
• The Admit Card is an important document. It should be preserved and produced at the time of counseling and admission.
