IISER (Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research) conducts entrance exams for admission to their undergraduate and integrated Masters-Ph.D. programs. The exam is called the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) and it tests the candidate’s knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.

IISER Exam Pattern
The IISER Aptitude Test Pattern will be as follows:
- The Exam will be conducted in Offline mode (Pen-paper based).

- The Exam Duration will be for 3 hours (10:00AM – 1:00 PM).
- The Question Paper will be for 180 marks.
- 3 marks will be given for the correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for an incorrect answer.

IISER Syllabus 2024 Exam Duration, marks
The duration and marking scheme for the IISER (Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research) entrance exam may vary depending on the specific exam being taken.
