About GATE 2021 Exam

GATE(Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is the national wide exam so the competition is high. The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, and Roorkee) jointly administer the conduct of GATE. GATE 2021 Marking Scheme

GATE 2021 CH Question Paper contains 65 questions carrying 100 marks, out of which 10 questions

carry a total of 15 marks on General Aptitude (GA), The Engineering Mathematics carry around 15% of the total marks, the General Aptitude section carries 15% of the total marks and the remaining 70% of the total marks is to the subject of the paper. As far as the marking scheme is concerned, there is negative marking in MCQ type questions whereas there is no negative marking for NAT type questions.

• For 1 marks question in the MCQ part, for an incorrect answer, 1/3 marks are deducted
• For 2 marks in the MCQ type question, 2/3 marks are deducted for an incorrect answer.
