How to Apply Online CA Exam Form – IPCC & Final May 2021
Important Note: Before going to submit the IPCC Application form online, candidates required to Register for the IPCC exam with ICAI’s Board of Studies first. If you have not registered Then, you will be required to register online, to submit the application form.

The validity of the CA IPCC Registration
Registration for the Intermediate (IPC) course is valid for 4 years from the date of initial registration/conversion. Renewal of registration can be done for a further period of 4 years by paying Rs. 400/- to concerned Regional office. Students should have valid registration before applying for the Intermediate (IPC) Examination to be held in Nov 2017.
CA Online Application Procedure May 2021

Step – 1: Start Applying for Exam
Click on “Apply Now” to apply for the exam. Note that once you clicked on “Apply Now” no changes made to your profile will reflect in your application form!
Step 2: Fill up the form
Make sure all the necessary details are accurately provided.
Now, login to your created account and fill up the online CA CPT/ IPCC/ Final examination application form carefully. Thereafter, click on the save changes button and in the next opened window (i.e. Confirmation Page) check and confirm the particulars displayed viz. Group applied, Region of examination center, exam center, medium and registration date etc. Following details shall be shown in the preview window:

Step 3 – Preview
Verify all your details. Click on “Back to Form” to make corrections.
Step 4: Make Payment
Until the payment is completed and application PDF is generated, your application is not complete. Click on “Make Payment” to initiate payment. In case, if the payment is not complete, you can click on “Pay” in dashboard to retry.
Step 5 – Payment Success & PDF
Once your payment is successful, you will be notified with the details of the payment. You can download your application PDF by clicking “Download PDF”. If your payment was deducted from bank, but the success message is not provided in ICAI site, your payment is not successful.
Step 6 – Send the PDF Application
Issue of Admit Cards
Admit cards with photographs and signatures of the candidates & Instruction to examinees will also be hosted on icaiexam.icai.org generally 21 days before the commencement of the examination. Candidates may print their admit cards from the website. No physical admit card will be sent to any candidate.
For downloading/printing of the admit cards from the above mentioned website, candidates will have to log-in to the site icaiexam.icai.org and print the admit card from their dashboard.

Refund of Fees
The fee once paid by candidate shall not be refunded/adjusted under any circumstances and no correspondence in this regard shall be entertained. However failure in electronic transmission, double payments, lost transaction (after payment) will be considered for refund. Multiple payments, that are received by us for the same student registration number, will be identified by the system and are refunded for the credit of the respective accounts from where they originated, by the office, within 30 days of the last date for submission of forms.
In case you have made payment of exam fees more than once and do not get a refund within 30 days from the last date for submission of forms, you can claim a refund of the excess amount paid by you, by writing to us at [email protected] within 45 days from the last date for submission of forms, along with documentary evidence, such as bank/credit card statement, of having paid the exam fees more than once. ICAI will verify the same and refund the excess amount, if any, paid by you.
CA IPCC Examination Centres Nov 2017
List of examination centers is available on the home page under the link Exam Centres. For the convenience of candidates, the cities of Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi/New Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, Pune, Surat, Thane, Vadodara, and Vasai and are divided into different zones.
All efforts will be made to allow the candidates who opted for a specific zone to an exam center in that zone itself. However, in case of a shortage of accommodation, in a specific zone, candidates would be allotted to some other zone, where accommodation is available. In such cases, requests for change of center will not be entertained under any circumstances.

Option to answer questions in Hindi
Candidates of the Intermediate (IPC) Examination / Accounting Technician Examination are allowed to opt for Hindi medium, for answering questions in the examination. Candidates desirous of answering questions in Hindi shall exercise their option at the very outset while making an application for admission to the examination by filling the relevant column. The option is available for all the papers of a Group / Both Groups/ Unit in entirety as may be applicable.
In other words, if a candidate appears in a Group / Unit, he can opt for Hindi medium only for that Group/Unit. If he appears in both the Groups then he has to exercise the option for both the Groups and not for a single Group. No paper-wise option is allowed. If a candidate has not exercised his option to answer the papers in Hindi in the application, but answers in Hindi. he will not get any credit for his answers.
The option exercised once shall be final and cannot be changed subsequently. In the absence of a clear indication by the candidate about the medium opted by him, the English medium will be reckoned as the medium of answers. If a Hindi medium candidate answers all questions or a question or part thereof in English, he will not get any credit for such an answer.
However, Hindi medium candidates can write numbers, figures, technical phrases/terms in English and can also solve numerical questions thereof in English. Similarly, if an English medium candidate answers questions or a question or part thereof in Hindi, he will not get any credit for such an answer.
Question papers:
For English medium candidates of Intermediate (IPC) Examination, question papers will be provided in English. For Hindi medium
candidates of Intermediate (IPC) Examination, question papers will be bilingual, except the following papers. Question papers
relating to the following papers will be in English only through Hindi medium candidates can answer them in Hindi.

Procedure for assisting of a writer/extra time to differently-abled candidates
Differently abled candidates who wish to apply for the grant of extra time/writer’s help, on account of permanent physical/neurological/visual disability, may apply to the Institute, in their own handwriting. Where a candidate cannot write, on his behalf, his/her representative may write the application.
The application should be accompanied by the following:
- A certified true copy of the certificate issued by a Doctor of the level of not less than Civil Surgeon of a Government Hospital to the effect that the disability is of permanent nature and specifying clearly the nature and extent( i.e. %) of permanent disability.
- Certified true copies of permission, if any, granted by the State Higher Secondary Board/University/ICAI in candidate’s 10+2 or degree examination or earlier examination of ICAI in which he/she had earlier appeared.
- Attested full-sized (postcard size) latest photograph indicating the name of the candidate on the photograph itself.
- Two copies of color passport-sized photographs (4.5*3.5 cm) for issuing Photo Identity Card.
- Any other document in support of the request for grant of the facility of a writer and/or extra time.
Cases of injuries or disablement of a temporary nature such as the fracture of the right or left arm, forearm, or dislocation of a shoulder, elbow, or wrist, etc., are not eligible for an extension of the facility of writer/extra time.

Yes. In case you have created a login under this site https://icaiexam.icai.org from November / December 2016 Exam onwards, there is no need to recreate the login even if you have converted to New Course. You may just log in using your SingleSignOn credentials (ie; Login ID & Password) and avail of all the services under one umbrella. While creating the user ID, I am directed to submit a provisional application? Why is it so?
Your identity as a student of ICAI is validated through your ten-digit registration number ( like NRO0123456) , the name of the course, and your date of birth that you had entered while creating the User ID. If these fields do not match with those in the Institute’s database, the system would not provide you User ID and password against the student registration number entered by you.
Instead, the system will allow a login against a system-generated Pxxxxxxxx number for submitting your online exam form. Hence, please ensure that you fill in your student registration number as per the registration letter sent to you. You are advised to keep a copy of the letter from the Board of Studies, ICAI registering you as a student of ICAI ready on hand so that you can fill your registration number correctly.
Also ensure that you fill in your date of birth, as per the documents submitted by you to the Institute at the time of registration.
In case your details do not match with our records, we shall still issue the User ID and password, you will be permitted to submit a provisional application, subject to verification of documentary evidence.

Candidates who have cleared Intermediate and want to fill up the Final Exam form exam but in their dashboard, the Exam is appearing as “Intermediate (IPC) / ATE” OR candidates who had converted to Intermediate from Intermediate(IPC) and are eligible to apply for the Mau 2020 Intermediate exam but in their dashboard,

Can I change my profile details after I started applying for an exam?
No. You will have to ensure that you have made all changes in the profile before you apply for the exam. Once you clicked on “Apply Now”, your profile information will be updated against your application form. Hence any change done to your profile, after you started applying for an exam will not be reflected in the application.
Can I apply for an exam without verifying my email id and/or mobile no?
Yes. There is a declaration in the “Apply & Track Your Application” section for email ID and mobile number. You can agree to it and proceed to apply for the exam by clicking “Not Now”. But we strongly recommend that you verify both your primary email ID and mobile number against your registration before you proceed. This will ensure that all electronic communications from the ICAI exams reach you.the

How do I know that my online registration is successful? Do I get any acknowledgment upon submission of the on-line form?

Candidates whose photographs and signatures are not in the examination database, i.e. those whose photographs and signatures are not displayed on the screen, are REQUIRED to take a print out of the exam form, affix their photographs and signatures at the designated place, get the form attested by a Chartered Accountant or Gazetted Officer or Head of an Educational Institution and send the same to Examination Department at the following address, by Speed Post or Registered Post only.
Submission by Hand: You may submit the print out of the application (PDF) within the given dates as above at any of the following offices on working days between 10 am to 5:00 pm.

The PDF reflects what is filled up. We request you to be careful while filling and saving the form. If you have made the successful payment you can seek correction of the same. You can highlight the area wrongly entered/appearing in the PDF and mark the correction without disturbing any other area. My payment was successful. But I am not able to generate the PDF document? What should I do now?
In the internet payment channel loss of payment happens for a small number of cases due to many issues like bandwidth, response time from the bank, students refreshing the page frequently, etc. Even though the amount may have got deducted from your account, due to the above reasons it has not got reflected in our account.
Please pay again and successfully get the PDF. You can send the email for a refund of the fees. In case you have submitted a provisional form, you will still be permitted to sit for the exam, provided you are eligible otherwise to write the exam. In case you are ineligible, ICAI will send you a separate communication.

What is a “Unit Scheme”?
“Unit scheme” refers to different combinations of papers of Intermediate (IPC) Examination which are required to be passed in one sitting (as a Group), meant for the candidates who have passed one of the groups in Intermediate Examination under the syllabus specified under Paragraph 2A of Schedule B of Chartered Accountants Regulations 1988

You are exempt from payment of the exam fee. You will be allowed to submit your exam application form online without paying the exam fee. However, in case you are a candidate with a disability and are not holding a permanent concession card issued by ICAI, you will be required to apply for the issue of the permanent concession card, by following the prescribed procedures, hosted on www.icai.org.
Meanwhile, you will be required to pay an exam fee online while applying for the exam. In case, you are eligible for the issue of a permanent concession card, the exam fee paid by you will be refunded.
