ASRB NET 2024 Exam Papers & Subjects
ASRB NET (Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board National Eligibility Test) is a competitive exam conducted by the ASRB for candidates who wish to pursue a career in agricultural research. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions and is conducted online.
The ASRB NET Medical exam consists of the following subjects:

ASRB NET 2024 Exam Duration & Marks
The duration and marks for the ASRB NET Medical Exam are as follows:
Duration: The exam consists of one paper of three hours duration.
Marks: The exam is conducted for a total of 150 marks, and it consists of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of one mark each. The paper is divided into two parts: Part A and Part B.
- Part A consists of 50 MCQs related to general knowledge, reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness.
- Part B consists of 100 MCQs related to the specific subject chosen by the candidate.
Each correct answer is awarded one mark, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
The ASRB NET Medical Exam is conducted by the Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) for the recruitment of candidates for the posts of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in various Agricultural Universities (AU) and other Agricultural Institutes (AI) in India.
ASRB NET 2024 Negative Marking Scheme
The ASRB NET Medical exam does have a negative marking scheme. For every incorrect answer, one-third of the marks allocated to that question will be deducted. However, there is no negative marking for unanswered questions or questions marked for review.
So, it’s important to attempt only those questions for which you are confident and have the knowledge to answer, rather than guessing and risking losing marks due to negative marking.
