ABOUT Indian Statistical Institute (ISI)
Indian Statistical Institute is a public university of India and one of the oldest and most prestigious institutions focused on statistics, and its early reputation led it to be adopted as a model for the first US institute of Statistics set up at the Research Triangle, North Carolina by Gertrude Mary Cox.
The Indian Statistical Institute was founded by Professor P.C. Mahalanobis in Kolkata on 17th December 1931. The institute gained the status of an Institution of National Importance by an act of the Indian Parliament in 1959.

ISI 2025 Application Form
The Indian Statistical Institute Entrance Test (आईएसआई) 2025 Online Application Available on the Official Website of Indian Statistical Institute. The application form for all courses is issued from February 2025. The following we provide the Online Application form for the Indian Statistical Institute 2025Entrance Test.
How To Apply:
- Indian Statistical Institute 2025 Application Form available in online mode only. Indian Statistical Institute Online Application form from February 2025 and the last date of submission of the application is March 2025.
- Students can get the application form for PG Diploma in Statistical Methods and Analytics course by post or in person from the ISI North-East Centre.
- The acknowledgment of the receipt of the Entrance Test 2025 application will be intimated through e-mail or SMS.
- Submit all required documents in the Application Form. After submitting these details in the form of ISI 2025 students required to upload the scanned copy of the photograph and signature.
ISI 2025 Application Fee
The Application Fee for the Entrance test is will be based on the course selected by the student. The Application Fee is Rs. 600, The Payment of Application Fee is refundable. Candidates can submit the fee Payment of the Application fee can be pay through offline mode and online mode.
- For general candidates: Rs.600
- For SC/ST/PWD candidates: Rs.300
ISI Entrance Test Eligibility Criteria
The Eligibility Criteria for ISI 2025 which includes the Age limit for Indian Statistical Institute Entrance TEST 2025, Entrance TEST 2025 Qualification as follows.
ISI Age Limit: There’s no specific age limit to appear in Entrance Test 2025.
ISI Qualification: The Educational Qualification of ISI Entrance test as Follows,
- STAT (HONS)/MATH (HONS): 12th or equivalent exam with Mathematics and English subjects
- M.STAT: 3 years of bachelor degree/B.Tech/B.E with statistics subject
- M.MATH: 3-year bachelor degree/B.Tech/BE with mathematics
- MS (QE): 3-year bachelor’s degree in economics/mathematics/Statistics/Physics
- MS (QMS): 3 years bachelor degree with Mathematics
- MS(LIS): 3 years Bachelor degree in any discipline
- M TECH (CS): BE/B Tech or equivalent degree or Master’s degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Computer Application/Physics/Electronics Science/Information Technology.
- M TECH (QROR): Master’s Degree in Statistics/Mathematics with probability and Statistics.
- Business Analytics: BS/B Tech/BE or equivalent with 60% marks, Integrated Masters or equivalent With 60% marks, Masters degree with 60% marks.
Note: For SC/ST/DA candidates 55% will be considered. Candidates appearing in the final exam are also considered
ISI 2025 Exam Pattern
The entrance examination will be conducted in offline mode. There would be no negative marking so no marks would be deducted for any incorrect answers. The exam pattern according to the marks and selected course by students for the ISI 2025 Test is given as follows,
- There are two parts of the entrance examination such that part-1 and part-2.
- Part-1: the entrance exam will be of objective nature which will comprise of the multiple-choice questions.
- paper -2: Exam will be of descriptive nature comprising of short answer type questions.
- In addition to that, there will be some questions from reasoning also in the entrance test.

ISI Admit Card
Candidates will be able to get the Entrance Test to admit card 2025 through online mode from the website.
