The Indian Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (abbreviated IIT Hyderabad or IITH) is a public engineering and research institution located in Sangareddy district, Telangana, India. • Candidates should have completed 10+2 from any recognized Board with 55 % aggregate with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• Candidates should have valid scores in JEE Main & those candidates who have not qualified in JEE Main should attend the UGEE entrance exam.

IIIT Hyderabad Admissions: Applications should be completed only through online mode. Candidates applying for IIIT Hyderabad Admissions should follow the steps below while filling out the application form:

• Visit the Official Website of the University. i.e.,www.iith.ac.in
• Click on “Registration for New User”. Now enter the details such as Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Email ID, Phone Number, etc.
• After the registration part is completed, the applicants will be provided with a new User ID and Password.
• Login with the credentials and fill in the remaining application parts such as Educational Qualification, Caste, Address.
• Upload Scanned Photo & Signature in prescribed size.

The Selection of candidates for admissions in B.Tech Programs will be through various channels:

• JEE Main Mode: Candidates will be chosen for admissions based on the marks obtained in JEE Main. Shortlisted applicants will be called for the Counselling Process.
• DASA Mode: Candidates living abroad will get direct admission based on DASA 2020. The total selection of the candidates will be based on the marks obtained in SAT. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Interview Process & Document Verification.
• UGEE Mode: Admissions through this channel will be based on the Entrance Exam conducted by the University. Applicants will be selected based on the performance in the Entrance Exam followed by Counselling.
• SPEC Mode: Special Channel of Admission was recently introduced by the University in 2018. Candidates will get admission to single degree B.Tech Programs such as ECE/CSE Programs. There are only 20 seats through SPEC Mode.
• Lateral Entry to Dual Degree Research Programs in CSD/ECD: Admissions will be based on the performance in Written Exam & Interview.

CSD Applicants: Candidates must complete II-year B.Tech in CSE/IT by July.

ECD Applicants: Candidates must complete II-year B.Tech in ECE/EIE/EEE/ETE by July.

IIIT Hyderabad Admissions: Candidates can download the Admit Card from the official website of the University. Candidates will not be allowed to attend the exam without the admit card. The Admit Card will be released 1 week before the exam commences. Here are the steps to download the Entrance Exam, Admit Card.

IIIT Hyderabad Admission & Counselling Process

IIIT Hyderabad Admissions: Candidates will be invited for the counselling based on the merit list & marks obtained in the Entrance Exam. In the Counselling Process, candidates will be allotted seats based on preference and marks. After allotment of seats, candidates have to reach the allotted college for admissions. Candidates should carry relevant documents, Seat Allotment Letter & Admission Fee. No direct admission will be given to any of the applicants.
