About SLIET 2025

Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET) is a deemed university located in Longowal, Sangrur district, Punjab, India. It was established in 1989 under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, and was named after the late Sant Harchand Singh Longowal, a prominent freedom fighter and social reformer.

The institute is known for its focus on research and innovation in the fields of engineering, technology, science, and management. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various fields of engineering, science, and management.

SLIET SET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

• ICD – Candidates should have completed 10th from any recognized Board.
• ICD Lateral Entry: 2-year ITI/ Certificate/ 10+2(Vocational) with two years recognized the industrial experience. 
• For BE/BTech: Candidates must be passed with 10+2 from any recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and should be qualified in JEE Main.
• For PG Courses: Applicants should be passed with bachelor’s degree or its equivalent (based on the Course chosen). 

Age Limit

There is no age limit proposed by the university, but the candidate has to follow authority norms for the application SLIET SET 2023.

SLIET SET 2025 Counselling

The counseling process for SLIET SET will begin after the declaration of the results. Candidates who have qualified in the entrance exam will be called for counseling, and seats will be allotted based on their rank and availability of seats. During the counseling process, candidates will be required to provide their documents for verification.

Candidates must bring their original certificates and photocopies of documents such as mark sheets, certificate of passing the qualifying examination, category certificate, etc., for verification.

Candidates who are allotted a seat must pay the admission fee and complete the admission formalities within the specified time to confirm their admission. If a candidate fails to complete the admission formalities within the specified time, their seat may be allotted to the next candidate in the merit list.
