JoSAA 2023– Joint Seat Allocation Authority- JosAA is a counseling body that was set up by the Ministry of Education, Government of India to get admissions to various undergraduate engineering programs. JoSAA is the Counselling Process for JEE Main & JEE Advanced Qualified candidates. To participate in JoSAA 2023 Counselling, candidates have to register and fill their choices. The Registration and Choice filling will start tentatively from June 2023. Counselling rounds will be conducted by the Authorities. JoSAA 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for JOSAA 2023 counseling are as follows:
- Academic Qualification: Candidates should have passed their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The minimum percentage of marks required varies for different categories and institutes.
- JEE Main and JEE Advanced: Candidates should have qualified the JEE Main and/or JEE Advanced examination with the required minimum marks and ranks.
- Category Criteria: Candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC-NCL, PwD) should have a valid category certificate issued by a competent authority.
JoSAA Application Form 2024
The JoSAA 2023 Online Application Available on the Official Website of JoSAA. Application form for B.Tech/B.Arch course is issued from June 2023. Here we provide the Online Application form candidates who are interested to apply can fill the application form before last date.

JoSAA Application Process
Candidates can fill the JoSAA 2023 application form on the official website of the Institute. Here are the steps to be followed while filling the application form.
- Visit JoSAA Official Website (josaa.nic.in/)
- Registration: Candidates have to register on the JoSAA 2023 website using their JEE Main or JEE Advanced roll number and password.
- Filling of choices: After registration, candidates have to log in to their account and fill in their choices of courses and institutes based on their eligibility and preferences.
- Locking the Choice: After filling the choices, candidates have to lock the seat.
- Verification of documents: Candidates have to upload their documents, such as JEE Main or JEE Advanced scorecard, category certificate (if applicable), and other relevant documents for verification.
- Seat allocation: Based on the JEE Main and JEE Advanced scores, the choices filled by the candidates, and the availability of seats, JoSAA allocates seats to candidates in the participating institutes.
- Acceptance of seat: Candidates who are allocated seats have to accept the seat by paying the acceptance fee and reporting to the allocated institute for document verification and completion of admission formalities.
- Reporting to the institute: After the acceptance of the seat, candidates have to report to the allocated institute within the stipulated time for document verification and completion of admission formalities.

JoSAA 2024 Counselling
Seat Allotment of JoSAA 2023 will be held in 7 rounds along with two mock allocations. Seat Allotment will be based on JEE Main & JEE Advanced Scores, Choice Filling & Availability of seats. Candidates whose seats are allotted should download the provisional seat allotment letter. Payment of Seat Acceptance Fee is to be done by the applicants

Candidates who are not satisfied with the allotted seat can go for the following options :
- Floating: This option is for the candidates, who accept the offered seat but look for up-gradation to get admissions in better Institute & Course.
- Freezing: This option is to the candidates, who accept the allotted seat and does not like to participate in further rounds.
- Sliding: If this option used, it will mean that candidates have accepted the allotted seat, however, if admissions are open in a better course in the same institute then he/she will go for up-gradation.
