About Bharathidasan University
This Bharathidasan University was established in the year of 1982 Feb. University was located in an area of around 1000 acres in Palkalaipeur. This was an autonomous Post – Graduate Centre of the University of Madras at Tiruchirappali. Academic units of Palkalaipeur Campus of the school of Physics, Mathematics, Life Science, Chemistry, Social Science, Geology, etc…
University has a total of four faculties, 29 Specialized Research Centers, 37 Departments, 16 Schools, 4 Faculties as well. University supporting staff strength is 457. All, the PG, UG Courses are conducted under a non-semester system and MCA and MBA Programs are conducted under semester along with the regular programs. MBA and MCA Programmes are conducted under this mode of very popular.
