About AN ITI
The Industrial Training Institute was established in the year 1988 under Andaman Nicobar Administration. The main objective of the Institute is to train young boys and girls in various vocational trade courses.
The Institute is coming up with all workshops and other infrastructural facilities to carry out the training programs. The National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT), Delhi provides All India Trade Test for Engineering and Non-Engineering Trades.
The responsibility of skill-oriented programs comes under through State Council of Vocational Training (SCVT) and trade courses at the national level are through the National Council of Vocational Training.
The main objective of vocational training is to develop technical skills in the aspirants. Upon completion of the Courses, the Institute gives NCVT or SCVT Trade Certificates. Based on these Course Certificates, students can roll for jobs at the National or State Level.
