General English
  • Reading Comprehension.
  • Sentence Correction, Articles, Prepositions, All Tenses, Spell check.
  • English Vocabulary, Antonyms, Synonyms.
  • Transformation of Sentences i.e Simple, Compound & Complex. Voices, Direct Speech, and Indirect Speech.
General Knowledge & Teaching Aptitude
  1. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Ecology, Economics, General Policy, and Scientific Research.
  2. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific outlook as is expected of an educated person.
  3. Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s general knowledge of the environment around him and its application to society.

TS EdCET 2024 Exam Papers & Subjects

TS EdCET stands for Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test. It is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Osmania University on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) for admission to various B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) courses offered by colleges in Telangana state.

The TS EdCET exam is divided into three parts. Part A consists of general English and general knowledge questions. Part B is related to teaching aptitude and Part C is related to the subject-specific content. The subject-specific content is based on the subject that the candidate has chosen for B.Ed. admission.

The exam duration for TS EdCET is 2 hours (120 minutes). The exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with a total of 150 marks. Each correct answer carries one mark, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
