CMA Foundation Registration for December 2021 Exams

Admission to CMA Foundation course for the Cost Accountant course is open throughout the year. However, the CMA Institute (ICAI Cost) has set cut-off dates or last date (Due Date) for CMA registration for appearing in June/December term of exams.

Accordingly, Students have to take admission in CMA Foundation Course at least 4 months prior to the month of CMA Examination to be eligible to appear in the Foundation Exam. Accordingly, students who wants to appear for June Term Examination should apply before 31st January of that year and for December Term Exam, they should apply before 31st July of that year.

• For appearing in June 2021 term of exam, the last date of registration for CMA Foundation Course is 31-01-2021 
• For appearing in December 2021 term of examination, the last date of registration for CMA Foundation Course is 31-07-2021

CMA Foundation Course – Eligibility for Admission

Students who passed 10th class can register for CMA Foundation Course. But students who have passed 10+2 class (Secondary Education) can only appear in the CMA Foundation Course.

Additionally, the following exam Passed Students shall also be eligible for CMA Foundation Course admission under New Syllabus 2016:

1. Senior Secondary Examination (SSE) under 10+2 class scheme of a recognized Board; or
2. An Exam recognized by the Central Govt. as equivalent to 10+2; or
3. Passed National Diploma in Commerce Exam held by the All India Council for Technical Education or any State Board of Technical Education under the authority of the said All India Council; or
4. The Diploma in Rural Service Exam conducted by the National Council of Higher Education.

Registration Fee for CMA Foundation Course (Admission Fee)

You are required to pay fee of ₹4,000/- for CMA Foundation Course registration. If you want to buy prospectus(brochure) of Foundation Course, then you have to pay ₹250/- additionally.

Required Documents for CMA Foundation Course Registration

Following documents are required for taking admission in ICMAI Foundation Course under New Syllabus 2016:

Attachment details:

1. Attested Copy of Matriculation Certificate (10th class mark sheet)
2. Attested copy of 10+2 Certificate or Marks Statement (12th/Inter class Mark sheet)
3. Three(3) Passport size photographs – (1 pasted on application form, another one pasted on identity card and remaining one to be attached with application)

Note : Attestation is mandatory by any member of ICAI, ICWAI, ICSI (The Institute of Cost Accountants of India /The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/ The Institute of Company Secretaries of India), Parliament/State Legislative Assembly or a Gazetted Officer or a Principal of a college.

Procedure for CMA Foundation Course Registration

However, Students have to keep some necessary documents before applying online for admission in CMA Foundation Course. Step-1 (Online Portal):

Step-2 (Online Application Form):

Now, you can see blow given screenshot of CMA Registration portal home page. you may proceed for online application and click on foundation text link shown in the middle of that webpage. You will be asked to select either oral coaching or postal coaching.

Coaching Type:

1. Oral Coaching: If you opt for Oral Coaching mode, you have to attend oral coaching classes at Chapter/Regional Councils of the institute selected by you. You need to collect Study Materials from concerned Regional Council / Chapter / CMA Support Centre after receipt intimation from HQ by SMS/email.
2. Postal Coaching: Students opting Postal Coaching mode shall have to submit answer to Postal test papers only.

Step-3 (Submit Online Form)

Thereafter, you have to fill-up online admission form for CMA foundation course by providing following details:

1. a) Personal Details:
2. i) Course Information: Enrollment Type, Course Type, Region/Chapter and Coaching Type.
   ii) General Information: Your Name, Father/Husband Name, Mother’s Maiden Name, Nationality, Religion, Date of Birth, Caste, Gender, Marital Status and Occupation.
3. b) Address Details: Permanent and present Address.
   c) Qualification Details: CLASS X or SSC or CLASS XII
   d) Payment: You may make payment using your Debit/Credit card or net banking.
   e) Attachment: Upload the required documents viz. Passport Photo, Specimen Signature, Age Proof, Pass Marksheet etc.

Some other CA Foundation Registeration Important Information:

1) Welcome Message:

Once you successfully upload all the required scanned documents and make payment online, you will receive a welcome message.

2) Reg. Number:

Identification/ Registration Number will be generated only after the completion of document verification and authentication from the Directorate of studies.

3) Study Materials:

Study Material will be dispatched after generation of Identification/ Registration Number.

4) Compliance:

Applicants are advised to ensure proper compliance and documentation.

5) Incomplete Application Form:

Incomplete applications of CMA Foundation will be available in the system for further completion for a period of 30 days from the original application date. During this period, an applicant may complete the remaining procedures. Beyond 30 days, no previous information will be available in the system and an applicant shall have to proceed for making fresh application.
