Eligibility
Eligibility for OPSC Homoeopathic/Ayurvedic Medical Officer Recruitment:
- Candidate must be a citizen of India.
- A candidate must be able to write and speak Odia.
- passed Middle School Examination with Odia as a language subject.
- passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as medium of examination.
- passed test in Odia in Middle English School Standard conducted by the School & Mass Education Department of the Govt of Odisha.
Qualification
Ayurvedic Medical Officer:Candidates must posses Bachelor’s Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S) or equivalent Degree from an University or Institute recognized by Central Council of Indian Medicine.
Candidates should get registered himself under the Odisha State Council.
Homoeopathic Medical Officer: Candidates must posses Bachelor’s Degree in Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery(B.H.M.S) or equivalent Degree from an University or Institute recognized by Central Council of Indian Medicine
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 38 years
- Age relaxation applicable as per rules.

The Pay Scale of OPSC Homoeopathic/Ayurvedic Medical Officer is Rs.44900/- in Level-10, Cell-1 of the pay matrix.

Selection Process
Selection of the candidates (Homoeopathic/Ayurvedic Medical Officer) will be done on Written Test.
- The written examination shall comprise of two papers carrying 100 marks each with one and half hour duration.
- There will be 100 objective type questions carrying one mark each.
- There will no negative marking for the wrong answer.
Written Examination will be held in Cuttack/Bhubaneswar.
