About HPCET (Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance test)

Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU). It is conducted annually for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering, pharmacy, management, computer applications, and architecture in colleges affiliated with HPTU. The exam is usually held in the month of May or June every year in offline mode. The exam pattern and syllabus vary depending on the course for which the candidate is applying. After the exam, candidates are shortlisted based on their performance and counseling sessions are held to allocate seats in various colleges based on their rank and preference.

HPCET Merit List

The authorities will release the merit list on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in the entrance exam, only after the declaration of HPCET Result 2023, Admissions will be offered on the basis of HPCET 2023 and JEE Main 2023 score, a separate merit list will be prepared for both the exams.

HP CET Cut Off Marks

How to check the HP CET Exam Result 2023

• Go to the official website of the University i.e., http://www.himtu.ac.in.
• To check the HPCET Entrance Test Result. 
• Click on Examination tab> ” Result of Entrance Test “.

HP CET Counselling 2023

HP CET Result: Candidates will be invited for the counseling based on the merit list & marks obtained in the Entrance Exam. In the Counselling Process, candidates will be allotted seats based on the preference and marks. After allotment of seats, candidates have to reach the allotted college for admissions. Candidates should carry relevant documents, Seat Allotment Letter & Admission Fee. No direct admission will be given to any of the applicants. If the candidates fail to submit the below-mentioned documents, their candidature will be canceled.

How to check HP CET Result 2023

1. Go to the official website of HP CET: https://www.himtu.ac.in/.
2. Click on the Examination tab > ‘Results’ tab on the home page.
3. Select the relevant course for which you have appeared for the entrance exam.
4. Enter your roll number or name in the given field.
5. Click on the ‘Submit’ button to view your result.
6. Your HP CET Result will be displayed on the screen.
7. Check your result carefully and download a copy of your result for future reference.
8. Take a printout of the result, which will be required for the counselling and admission process.
