About TANCET 2024

Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test is an eligibility examination for studying postgraduate courses like M.E., M.Tech., M.Arch., M.Plan., M.B.A. and M.C.A. in colleges of Tamil Nadu, India. This examination is conducted by Anna University, Chennai, on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu. The official notification for TANCET 2023 is released in Official website. The last date to submit the application is February 28, 2023. The SITEEE 2023 exam will be conducted on March 25 and 26.

TANCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Here are the eligibility criteria for TANCET 2023:

1. Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens.
2. Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed their bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates) from a recognized university.
3. Age Limit: There is no age limit specified to appear for TANCET.
4. Domicile: Candidates should be a domicile of Tamil Nadu. However, candidates from other states can also apply for TANCET, but they will be considered under the Open Category.
5. For MBA: Candidates should have completed a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of duration.
6. For MCA: Candidates should have completed a bachelor’s degree in computer applications or a bachelor’s degree in science/Mathematics with a minimum of 3 years of duration and Mathematics as one of the subjects.
7. For M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan: Candidates should have completed a bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline or its equivalent.
