About MHT-CET 2025

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra conducts several state-level entrance exams including MHT CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) for admission to engineering, pharmacy, agriculture, and allied health sciences courses, MAH MBA CET for admission to MBA courses, MAH MCA CET for admission to MCA courses, MAH LLB CET for admission to law courses, and MAH B.Ed CET for admission to B.Ed courses.

The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is an annual entrance exam conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. The Entrance Test is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra. The degree courses in Engineering & Pharmacy streams are mainly accounted for in this entrance exam. Which Enhance the quality of Technical Education Institutions, programs, and systems towards achieving international standards.

MHT-CET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Engineering/ Technology, Pharmacy, Pharm D. Courses-

• Candidates should be Indian National.
• Candidates must have passed the class 12th exam or HSC examination with subjects namely, Physics, Chemistry, English, and Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ Biology/Technical Vocational subject with Minimum 45% aggregate marks.
• A candidate who is either Domicile of Maharashtra and/ or is born in Maharashtra.

Age Limit

There is no age limit for MHT-CET 2023.

MHT-CET Application Form 2025

Candidates can fill out the MHT-CET 2023 registration form in the official website, Candidates will be allowed to apply for the engineering application form of MHT CET 2023 before the last date.

MHT-CET 2025 Application Fee

The Application fee of MHT-CET 2023 is as follows.

• General Category: – Rs.800/-
• ST/ SC/ OBC/ PWD/ SBC/ NT/ EWS: -Rs.800/-

Candidates can make an online fee payment through Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking modes. On successful payment of the application fee, a confirmation will be displayed online. Candidates shall print the receipt for future references.

MHT-CET Application Process

• The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET 2023) Application Form is available for the Candidates to apply in online mode only.
• The application form will be available online from 8th March 2023.
• Submit all required documents in the Application Form. After submitting all details in the form of an entrance test students are required to upload the scanned copy of the photograph and signature.
• After the Registration process completion Print the Application as a Hard copy.

• Time duration-180 minutes (90 minutes for each group)
• Total Questions-200 Questions
• Total marks-300 marks (100 marks for each section)
• Marking scheme-
  • Physics & Chemistry, Biology – 1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer.
  • Mathematics – 2 marks will be awarded for every correct answer.
• Negative Marking -No

MHT-CET 2025 Admit Card

Candidates can download their MHT-CET 2023 admit cards from the official website of the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. Admit cards are usually released a few weeks before the exam. Candidates must carry a printout of the admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the exam center.

MHT-CET 2025 Results

The MHT-CET 2023 results are usually declared in the month of June/July. Candidates can check their results online by entering their roll number and date of birth. The result will show the candidate’s score and rank in the exam.

MHT-CET 2025 Counselling

After the MHT-CET 2023 results are declared, the counselling process will start the process. Candidates who have qualified the exam will have to register for counselling online and fill in their choices of colleges and courses.
