About MET 2023

MAHE, formerly known as Manipal University, is a private university in the state of Karnataka, India. It has several campuses across the country and offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various disciplines such as engineering, management, medicine, nursing, dentistry, architecture, humanities, social sciences, etc.

MET is the common entrance exam for most of the programs offered by MAHE, except for some specific courses that have their own entrance exams or selection processes.

MET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must have qualified 10+2, or any other equivalent examination.
Must have Math’s, English, and Physics as mandatory subjects.
The candidate must have a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry/Biology.

Age Limit

For B. Tech: Should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the admission year.

• Candidates can apply for MET 2023 through the official website of MAHE or through offline mode.
• Click on the ‘Apply Online’ link.
• Register yourself by providing the required details.
• Fill in the application form and upload the necessary documents.
• Pay the application fee and submit the form.

  • For Multiple Choice Questions-:4 marks for correct answer and -1 mark for incorrect answer
  • For Numerical Answer Type Questions-: 4 marks for correct answer and no negative marking

  • Physics – 10 MCQs and 5 NAT Questions

MET 2023 Counselling

After the MET results are declared, candidates who have cleared the exam will be called for counseling based on their rank in the merit list. During counseling, candidates will be asked to select their preferred course and college. Candidates who have secured higher ranks will have more choices available to them. It is important to note that the counseling process for MET may differ based on the specific course and college.

As per official noticed released by MAHE the counselling will starts from 2nd week of June 2023.
