About JKCET 2023

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) is a government agency that conducts various entrance examinations for admission to professional courses in Jammu and Kashmir. The board was established in the year 2002 under the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations Act, 2002.The main objective of JKBOPEE is to conduct fair and transparent entrance examinations for admission to various professional courses such as Engineering, Medical, Dental, Ayurvedic, Homeopathic, and others. The board also regulates the admission process for the candidates who qualify for the entrance exams.

Jammu & Kashmir Common Entrance Test is a common entrance exam. This exam is managed by the (JKBOPEE) Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations. It is conducted once in a year for admission in Engineering program. These programs are offered by the various government and private institutions situated in J&K state. JKCET is held for candidates seeking admission into various professional courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, Physiotherapy, Diploma Dental Hygiene, and B.E. in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) State.

JKCET Exam Dates 2023

The official notification for JKCET 2023 is released in Official website. The last date to submit the application is April 24,2023. The JKCET 2023 exam will be conducted on 28th May 2023(Tentative). Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) will be conducting the Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test for admission to B. Tech professional courses.

JKCET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for JKCET, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. Domicile: Candidate must be a permanent resident of the Jammu and Kashmir state.
3. Age limit: The minimum age limit for candidates is 17 years as on December 31 of the year of admission.
4. Educational qualification: Candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognized board or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology as compulsory subjects.
5. Minimum marks: Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination (45% for reserved category candidates).

Age Limit

The minimum age limit for candidates is 17 years on or before December 31, 2023.

The Candidate has to select the Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking option to pay the application fee and follow the online instructions to complete the payment of the fee. After successful payment, the candidate will be able to print the Application Form.
