IMU CET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

• B. Tech
  • Passed class 12th or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks
  • Age limit:
    • Male applicants – 25 and 28 (SC/ ST applicants must be 30 years old)
    • female candidates, 27 to 30 years old (SC/ST – 32 Years).
• Lateral Entry for BTech (Marine Engineering)
  • minimum of 55% in English in their Class 10/Class 12/Diploma in Marine / Mechanical / Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering Diploma from a recognized Institute.
• Lateral Entry for BTech (Naval Architecture and Ocean engineering)
  • Candidates must hold a Diploma in Ship Building Engineering from the Institute of Ship Building Technology in Goa, a Diploma in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering from AMET University in Chennai, or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Civil Engineering from any AICTE-approved institute.

For Post Graduate Programs

• M. Tech (Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, Dredging and Harbour Engineering)
  • Minimum 60% marks in graduation degree with Mechanical/ Civil/ Marine/ Naval Architecture or equivalent
• M. Tech (Marine Engineering and Management)
  • Bachelor’s degree with Marine Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Naval Architecture with at least 60%
• MBA
  • Completed bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50%
  • There is no upper age limit for eligibility.
